Is that the one that Frankie Boyle is hosting, because I may have watched a couple episodes. Frankie was one of the first comics that I sought out after catching clips of MTW on YT. Either way, it is definitely on my list now, thanks! Also have you watched any of Jonathan Price’s (I believe that’s his name) in between

I think that is what makes me appreciate it so much. I’ve always thought some of the best comedy is punching up. Watching British humor has also forced me to research some of the common bits, and learn more about current events and modern history across the pond, which is never a bad thing in my eyes.

Off topic, but I have recently started watching clips and episodes of Mock the Week, and as an American, I love how vicious they can be towards politicians in a way that doesn’t seem possible here in the states for some reason. And its given me a whole new selection of comics to look up, even if some of the humor is

PREACH! I lived in Fischer’s district, and that district is up for reelection. I called the state Dem office, and they couldn’t even tell me if there was a Dem candidate. They’re so neutered and useless. She is guaranteed that seat. Ugh.

Can’t win em all.

Yeah its rough reading it in this day and age. Like others in this thread have mentioned, though, he made these cartoons while working for the War Department, and regretted it later on in life.

Well, he did make some pretty racist political cartoons concerning the Japanese during WWII, however, this was something he publicly regretted. In fact, he wrote Horton Hears a Who as a way to make up for that. His career wasn’t without controversy, but he did try to atone for his earlier sins.

Yay, more trickle down economics. Why don’t we just ol’ Reagan up and stick him in the office again. He was a racist senile bastard, too, but at least he was well spoken. I need a beer.

Has day drinking become acceptable yet in this political climate, cause my coping mechanisms are losing their effectiveness. Also, Cassidy can go do deep knee bends over a large cactus.

I’d like to see more research on the fraud committed to and around foster children.

Hell, even with CC set, in a lot of cars the speed will still fluctuate as it changes throttle to deal inclines and declines. My wife’s Montego (sigh) will pop up a few mph going downhill and will stay there until it levels out.

Rules are meaningless, nothing matters. Kill your heroes, children.

Somehow the Conservative media, assuming they even cover it, will most likely spin it as Obama’s fault when these folks realize their medications, treatments, motorized scooters, and Viagra aren’t covered anymore. I grew up in the Rural South. I don’t have any sympathy for these people anymore. These past ~9 months

Reminds me of an old Chris Rock bit. He talked about where he lived, in a house that cost millions of dollars. There were four black people living in that neighborhood, among countless houses. Those four were him, Mary J. Blige, Jay-Z, and Eddie Murphy. His neighbor, however, who was white, was... a dentist. And not

YES!! Toxic Love is easily the best bad guy song ever. With the exception of The Hunchback of Notre Dame, which deserves rewatching as an adult. Extra layer of creepy that a child simply cannot appreciate.

I can’t for the life of me remember the character’s name, but he was the antagonist pollution monster. Nexus, maybe? Anyways, I always kind of tuned out of a lot of song numbers at that time, but his was just captivating. Now I have to go find it on Youtube...

Avatar was just *crappy* live action Ferngully. FTFY

Take my star. Never have I needed something so bad, and not known until I received it. Thank you.
