Apparently expecting a calm and sensible writeup from the Daily Mail (which is Patient Zero in this outbreak of WTF) is like expecting a tasteful, understated page 1 headline from the NY Post.

The Times article says that the Tonight/Late Night deal means Lorne Michaels will now be in charge of "all of NBC’s important late-night franchises." Somewhere in Carson Daly's head, a sad trombone plays. And then he sobs into a massive stack of Voice money.
Johnny and Bette Midler sharing an impromptu duet of "Here's That Rainy Day" on the next-to-last show always tears me up. We should all bow out with that type of grace.
For extra credit, see if you can track down the ABC Family promo for Office Space, which was transformed into a romantic comedy starring Jennifer Aniston. They're nothing if not consistent.
Absolutely yes. Trying to artificially engineer that kind of chaos is the worst way to go about it.
The insane RAW crowd gave Fandango (oh, pardon me, FAHN! DAHN! GOOOOOO!) a new level of job security by humming his theme music ALL NIGHT. And after the show ended. And as they were leaving. They even played it on their car horns.
I wish the network would answer my letter and let me run old Supertrain episodes, just to see what would happen.

Absolutely, the first two-thirds of "Till the Band Comes In" is the last good album of the first phase of Walker's career. In my fantasy TV variety show, a "Little Things" production number would be the last straw that makes the network fire me, and it would totally be worth it.

For what it's worth, Logomania is a parody of the Oscar-winning Logorama short. The original was a cartoon about a town built out of and populated by (mostly) real-world advertising logos. And just to screw around with us, they slipped Slurm in.

A "what else is on" would've been nice, but after actually watching it, maybe it was better off being ignored.
