Wow, not even a Gentleman’s F!

This only makes me want to see this thing more.

Poor guy, man that’s horrific.

Did anyone ever consider that this survey was conducted by a company, Katz Media Group, that represents the advertising interests of network television?

That’s just from your dozens and dozens of cats.

Uh, yeah about that...

It really depends on your bubble. For example, I’ve seen every show listed above but I’m not sure if Ray Donovan is a person or a TV show, or if I even spelled that surname correctly; I couldn’t name a single 60 Minutes journalist; and Top 40 music is an inscrutable mess to my ears.

And the TV’s good

I just noticed this was also based on only 500 adults so the numbers are probably laughably inaccurate and I’d guess overstated—there is no way 17% of all adults watched Westworld

Agree, but it’s the media and the people in it who certainly know of The Handmaid’s Tale, and this protest- visually striking and culturally of the moment- would be like catnip for them to disseminate widely. Which is what happened, and it was a clever and theatrical protest that got tons of attention online. The

Well now, that’s definitely a SA video, even got a shot in at furries... poor dumb Goons.

this is surprising to you?!

I remember a couple months back when this one group was protesting Congress by dressing up in Handmaid’s Tale outfits outside the building as the senators exited. There is no way Handmaid’s Tale is remotely close to the kind of TV those guys watch. I guarantee that demonstration was met with confusion and “what’s with

This is news to me. In games, critically acclaimed is usually associated with mad money. The Uncharted series have sold very well, Red Dead Redemption, all the GTA’s, etc. These are some of the best games ever while also being huge selling games. GTA IV and GTA V set records for selling.

It’s common knowledge that no one watches these niche shows relative to network TV. Neilsen ratings have confirmed the same thing. It’s not bad vs. good, it’s CBS vs. FX. Netflix is a black box for a reason. GoT has had some breakthrough moments where it rivaled football but your average HBO show wouldn’t last to

I don’t think most people really want to be challenged by television, and that’s fine. If your free time is very limited taking on a show like The Americans isn’t going to happen. If you just watch TV to relax a little in the hour you have free after work and other obligations you’re not going to pick up a downer like

Now playing

Why would they, when they could be watching this?

How is this news? This is basically the case for movies, games, etc. Critically acclaimed has never correlated all the much to visibility or popularity and it is not likely to change any time soon. I’m sure if you did this with non-critically acclaimed show on the cable and streaming shows you will get even worse

Another symptom of living in a liberal academic elitist bubble, I suppose. Oh, well, it’s warm and fuzzy in here.

This Tim League guy should be backed TF outta here too
