Maybe you’re right that it’s to keep him in place in the event of the investigation turning up impeachable offenses against Trump, but I still find it hard to believe that he had no idea about any of what was going on.

I know it would mean that we’d end up with President Paul Ryan if they were both impeached, but why is Pence seemingly getting a pass on the Russian connection to the Trump campaign?
