Of course Danica Patrick is a race car driver, she's just not a very good one. Now Michèle Mouton, there is a good driver and someone who deserves way more press than Danica.
An XJ this is not.
No. That's wrong.

I really really like my Beyer Dynamic DT-770 Pros. they are the ones with that fuzzy grey colored ear cups. They are extremely comfortable for long time wearing and whilst walking to the office from Union Station in Chicago, in this frigid polar vortex, the work fantastic as earmuffs. Bass response is tight and clear.…
Beats are just horrible, I've been saying this since they were first released, and many disagreed, saying that they were "the best headphones you could buy"... Years later, many of those very same people have switched over to far superior and less expensive cans and earbuds from Shure, Denon, Audio Technica,…
"they don't have active noise cancellation"
These look really good! I'll check them out.
Beats seems to make the only set that meets my criteria though... Can anyone recommend a Beats alternative that is:
Beats would be fine if they were 1/4 of the price, but for $300, you can get a really nice set of headphones. Why would you waste all of that money on a pair of Beats?
In fairness I said low bitrate. 320k mp3/256k aac is reasonable, as low as one should go and with most headphones will sound decent.. A Pair of $100 Grados is not a lot of money and sound great. But then you see the tone of this pose is not aimed at those happy with free earbuds. It is about someone looking for a…
I as well have tried many different pairs of headphones, and I was very disappointed when I spent $300 for a pair of beats and they sounded the same as my $50 sony headphones. Beats are also made of a terribly cheap plastic (Considering what you pay for them), and they break very easily. I work for a large electronics…
The Grado SR60i or SR80i... for less than $100, you can't do better. They're sublime.
I've fallen in love with my Logitech UE6000s. I think you can pick them up for under $100 right now. HiFi reviewers give them great reviews when they were at the $200 price point. One of the few downsides they site is the bass being too punchy, which I enjoy.
My analogy was similar:
A; There's nothing wrong with the term Audiophile... All it means is that you place value on the quality and purity of the sound - to enhance your enjoyment.
There's a difference between being a snob and a product elitist, and hating on a product for a good reason.
Yeah, that's the problem I had writing this. I tried not to be overly hyperbolic or anything about them, even though I was truly blown away by how bad they sounded (compared to my expectations, which were not very high). It's hard to sound like you're not hating on them just because it's fashionable to do so—but it's…
