Maybe with some accessories, too? Yes?

I tested an Amarok BiTDI (2.0-liter twin-turbo four, 8-sp auto) and can confirm it is a brilliant midsize truck. Power, efficiency, comfort, good looks, and quite bitchin' off-road without a low range.

Targa it!

Give me the 4 cyl diesel and a manual trans and I will absolutely buy one.

I actually really like the new 4runner grill

I am surprised no one has yet to post the Mid 90's Ford Grills:

I think the 4runner has a big presence on the road, one in my area has a whole zombie slayer theme to it

Audi.

Chevrolet's split grille:

The Lincoln grilles are horrid.

Its a cheap car for people who need a car.

What is so wrong?

The 4 speed auto sits in the base car which no one outside of the fleet will take. The engines aren't actually that bad.

I don't get it. Are we hating on it because you want something more or are we hating on it because you don't get the position it has in the

I really shouldn't complain, my 3vz has 336k miles on it with no sign of trouble. (I have no idea how many Gaskets its gone through prior me buying it at 328k).

I used to work part time for a friend who had a landscaping business and his truck was an amazing tool. It could haul enormous loads up steep hills (Vermont) and would just never, ever die. He would talk about about a larger, newer truck and then just finally gave up talking about it. Great engine.

My 3Vz is at 192k miles with no head gasket problems. But the 5Vz is its older better brother so I would certainly nominate it.

Compared to the 3vz-e, which will pop a headgasket if you look at it wrong, 5vz is a thing of beauty. The ability to use anything over 3rd gear going uphill is nice too.
