And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the beauty of the Dodge Charger police car. The cops love it because it's fast, and powerful, and it can easily to catch up to anyone doing anything wrong. And we, the drivers, love it because we'll never have to experience any of that for ourselves. Because the moment we see that

Tennessee could be ranked a bit higher in my mind since there are so many good curvy backroads with little traffic or enforcement. It's a great place to own a corner bomber like a Miata or Cayman. I'm speaking for the plateau area and the mountains but the whole state has pretty decent roads in general.

Did they enter our ADIZ?

9/10 would buy. Would make a great fair weather car.

Appears all that bouncing was from the camera coming off it's mount.

How about this? The LX450, the Land Cruiser FZJ80's twin, is a legendary off road truck.

Agreed.

I like how mine looks a bit better.

That's not the kind of gadgetry we're talking about. Off-road gadgetry is a good thing.

"Not very good" doesnt mean unreliable. It has poor power delivery and a very anemic feel to it. My dad has a Tundra equipped with that engine, it's very lacking in that application as well.

The 4.7L V8 wasn't a very good engine, it has some issues. Plus the new V6 makes more power and torque sooner in the rev range while being more emissions-compliant. The only reason this V6 4Runner gets worse MPG is because it's heavier and has full-time 4wd unlike your 4th gen.

An SR5 4x4 with no extra goodies save for the roof-rack rings up at $35,240. Gotta have a roof rack right? :P

That's what the SR5 and Trail models are for. No excessive gadgetry there.

In all honesty I think I like my '97 4Runner better than the new Limited, the SR5 and Trail/Pro models help that a bit by being more aggressive, off road capable and spacious, since they lack the third row. All in all, the new Limited seems a bit pointless as a 4Runner, but people will buy them. BTW the SR5 and Trail

Not to mention the awful design makes it confusing and completely unscientific. Learn to make a proper useful infographic.

This is completely useless. Power:Weight/Dollar would be much more useful.

You could throw literally any badge on that thing and people would believe it. Sure hope that thing stays in China...

I don't really, because we still have the Toyota 4Runner and Nissan Xterra and they do a passable job of keeping the class alive. Stuff like the Samurai and Trooper and Montero did an interesting niche a generation ago. But when you have the Jeep Grand Cherokee that's capable and comfortable, do you really miss these

I has a sad.
