It’s not explicit, but I always had the impression that Palpatine checked in with Anakin on at least a semi-regular basis ever since he singled Anakin out at the end of Phantom Menace. Their conversations in the two subsequent movies (prior to Palpatine’s big reveal) feels like an ongoing unofficial mentorship.

Complains about using “buzzwords” right, completely fails to even open a dictionary to see that groom means something besides conditioning a child for sex.

I’m glad Hayden is getting something of a redemption tour. Him nailing the timbre and delivery of Matt Lanter just sells it.

Come to think of it, the problem might actually be that they chose the worst of BOTH worlds: every character is attracted to the player, and nearly all of them are at least somewhat pushy about it, but they still put their foot down with monogamy. They *do* still have standards, it’s just that their standards are

I never said anything about there being an expectation for more, or that developers owe people more. No clue where you got that idea.

Dear Lord, if they released a campaign builder tool and mod support they could be the only CRPG people play. Become the D&D of PC.

I’d like you to take a step back and think about what you just said for a moment. This isn’t a dig at you, but just something to think about.

Throne of Bhaal was the expansion, Shadows of Amn is the subtitle of base BG2.

It’s also f’ing ridiculous because we gamers bitch all the time about games not being delivered “complete”. Here we have a game and a dev telling us, “Here it is, 100% of the game!” and some of us are like, “Okay, but maybe moar?”

My first thought, well if you call 30 hours in “first thought, was DnD modules/adventures.

Screw expansions, just give us new modules to play instead. Having campaign modules for different places from across the D&D realms (Waterdeep, Neverwinter, Planescape, Icewind Dale) would be fantastic and then you wouldn’t need to worry about figuring out how to link them to the main story.

5e DMs all over the world struggling with combat difficulty for parties past level 10, YOU ARE SEEN!

I’d be happy with official mod tools. Not forme, because I r dumb. But the modding community could effectively create new campaigns to last year’s.

PFFFFFFFFFFFTTTTTT

The writing was never great. The show was almost great in spite of the bad writing, and in spite of the very confusing (for those unfamiliar with the lore) first season time-jumps. That a show could be promising despite major flaws in plot direction and writing demonstrates that there was definitely some magic there,

So once again, blaming your audience rather than blaming what actually is the problem: Poor writing

Oh snap, we’re getting another Trine? That’s great! I’m looking forward to a bunch of these. I wish there was an option for 15 to 20 hour versions of Baldur’s Gate and Starfield. The “This will take you 300 hours” thing is a deterrent for me. Just like there are one-shot D&D campaigns, I wish I could get a one-shot

They found what looked like a tape backup, but it turned out to be Laserbeak in disguise. (He was part of a deep cover mission to make Starscream look like an idiot...)

I’m... guessing they’re talking about the source code files that would need to be reworked a bit for compatibility with modern systems? Because Activision keeps copies of their releases, they had a whole process for it back when I worked there (which was in the late 00's, before either of these games got released).

To be fair, Immortals’ POIs were generally much more interesting than anything you’d find in AC or FC. There were a lot of interesting puzzles.
