Doesn’t even need to be a stick shift. The OEM shifter for my DSG fell apart on the inside. The plastic clips that held it together all broke, but you couldn’t tell because there’s also a metal band on it. The broken pieces fell into the actuator that allows you to shift out of park... and then the car’s computer

Really depends on the place that’s handling the valet service. I’ve used the valet at the casinos near me and found that they’re quite nice with the car. Also found that when I tipped the valet before they parked it in the winter, they would park my car in the heated part of the garage.

Half as many decades honestly, maybe even a third. Just enough time that young people don’t see his face every time they hear “Tesla” or remember that time he did (fill in blank).

Never mind that, due to all of the overhead electrical lines, I can’t listen to AM in my car, all I get is interference.  Maybe out in the middle of nowhere I can receive signal...

I’m sure there are plenty of engine choices that will fit into an F150. There are also a bunch of people who run straight veg oil (SVO) and waste veg oil (WVO) along with darn near any oil and oil mixture in those motors. And you’re not limited to trucks, pretty much any diesel engine prior to these newer engines

Go with something you can swap an older diesel into, then you can run waste vegetable oil & raw vegetable oil.  Newer diesel injectors won’t run the oil, too thick.  People will hoard food, but not oil.  Plus every abandoned fast food joint will be like another gas station.  Then you can run this thing on almost any

Yeah, but swap that motor to a diesel and you can run it on vegetable oil, much easier to source than gasoline.

Have you seen the trailers they use for the Tornado? Really depends on the cats you have, but that goofy angled Tornado trailer might work for 2 regular width cats.  And I’m positive I’ve seen custom trailers with two cats on them before, you just need to start with a trailer that will handle the total weight when

I saw a dude with one that was better than mint at a show and asked him how many hours had gone into it. When my wife, friend and I walked away they both noted, “Why did you ask how many hours and what the hell does that mean?” It was well over 1,000 hours, so I told them to multiply the hours by 1.25 and then by the

There’s video, hard to tell though because for some strange reason, none of the drivers wanted to get a good close up.  The first one I saw, it seems the driver didn’t realize she had a gun too.  So he’s just casually driving and then you hear gun shots and the guy is all of a sudden much less interested in rubber

Try Reddit, search for bay bridge, it’s there. I’m not posting it from work, you figure it out.

I ride in the morning so there’s less traffic, it gives cars more room to go around me so I’m less likely to get hit. But the early morning crowd that street park to go get breakfast/coffee... about half of them are paying attention to their surroundings and are fully aware that they are not the center of the

Slow news day in NYC I see.

Yeah, that auction is in Switzerland and some of the cars... oofff. I felt dirty opening that site at work. The Monterrey auction has some sick stuff too.  Like a bunch of ‘cheap’ “Lost and Found” Ferraris.  Call it a ‘scratch and dent’ sale if you will.  For $300k and a few dollars more (plus a TON of work) you too

One coming up for auction by Sotheby’s in September,

That’s gotta be in Austin, right?

40th anniversary GTI comes in some bright yellow for a non-bland color as well. I was thinking Golf R, but that’s almost $50k, sure it’s pushing 315 hp now w/ AWD... but I do enjoy my GTI and a newer one in bright yellow would be super cool.

Yeah, the Fire Chikkin, Camaro and even the Vette of the early malaise era sucked hard.  So hard that it’s not blasphemy to replace the motor with anything with more power... which isn’t hard to do really.

Living in CT, I saw this somewhere last night, maybe the CT-State Police facebook feed.  Either way, very surprised there aren’t more pictures.  Truck driver’s name is Shaky Joseph.

Yeah, getting stuck on a high grade crossing and getting hit later is one thing. There’s signs telling the truck not to cross, maybe the driver didn’t see it, or has done it a bunch of times without getting stuck...
