Yeah, they’ll send us to (checks notes) fat camps for physical re-education.

Now playing

I’d like to see a compilation of all the times Max sent other drivers off track in previous races. The kid was straight up reckless in his first two years. His move against Grosjean in Monaco in 2015 is easily the best example of where Marko and Horner can stick this newly found anger about on track moves that weren’t

You should see what better looking Vanagons go for these days.  That’s practically a steal. And if it’s a Syncro, ooofff they get expensive.

Well... the wife was just telling me the other day over dinner that it’s high time I upgraded from a GTI to something a bit more fancy that’s not a VW. Her idea was a lightly used Porsche or even something new from them that wasn’t a 911. (I know, stop laughing, she has no gawddamn clue what these cars cost, I

I know! I know!

I also think that Max may not have known Lewis was on the line he wanted to take. I saw the slowed down replay and you can see Max cut back left when he sees Lewis to his right... he just didn’t cut back far enough and caught a wheel.

Maybe they need to address that top down and adopt what’s done in sailing.

There are some, but the worst I ever saw... and this still makes me raging angry, was a NJ plate on a Nissan Murano (when they first came out) that read “1MUR2NV”.

I’ve seen a VA plate (internet picture) of a VA handicapped plate with TIMMAY on it, that makes me laugh.

This takes the cake for best Virginia vanity plate.

I’ve seen a few funny ones here in CT,

I think the point is made is more along the lines of they’re too young to know real pain yet. As in, they’re too young to have been dating someone for a long enough period of time and that no children, houses or pets were involved in the breakup.

Well, it’s not actually a bad take. I posit that noting that yes, indeed, covering fasteners is kinda bogus. On that I agree. But look at the end product and skip the whole ‘Those guys did a bang up job!’ because they charge for those fabulous looks, and up the wazoo I might add or we’d be having this discussion at

If you look at the picture of the back of the car, it appears that the rear wing does go over the rears a bit, maybe 1/3 of the rear tire width. So yeah, drivers are going to have to be extra careful if they get a rear puncture... which isn’t much different from now. Can’t remember the last couple of drivers who had

It’s a fancy, high performance, low weight aero-cover... or a hub cap, call it what you want. It sort of makes the wheel and tire (tyre?) combo look like a 13" wheel. So the aero-cover is sliver and they painted the outer part of the wheel black in an attempt to make it look like a regular F1 car with 13 inch wheels.

Well, two things to address at the crash site are 1) automotive fluids from the truck and 2) not disturbing the natural ecosystem of the lake.

Beat me to it.  That paint looks amazing on every one of their cars.

There are buttons you can push to turn that crap off. My routine is start motor, latch belt, hold down button to deactivate traction control, put DSG into manual mode, release parking brake, mash the skinny pedal and enjoy the ride.

You have to get the base model for that... or find someone with the base model who wants to swap seats which honestly, shouldn’t be too hard.  Not everyone who buys one insists on those seats in a GTI... I mean, I did but that’s just me.

Wait until the used car market gets a little better and score a lightly used model.  I got a 2015 off a 3 year lease at a great price and it’s still making me quite happy every time I rip around in it.  The EA888 motor is much more reliable than previous motors so you’re way less likely to need that new warranty.
