Sadly, I have to agree with you — in my memory he was less slobbery than most of his competition, but watching/re-watching a lot of interviews over the past week, he can get pretty weird. I'd put it down to him sending up that aspect of talk-show convention too, but that may be giving him too much credit.

I adore the show, but I have to agree with your disappointment at his objectification, it is happening more often, more obviously, and is the single thing I don't like about the show, just in the way you described. He really has to curb it before it starts to backfire on him.

The praise for Ferguson is nice, but the Handler rumors were shot down several days ago. The Fermata is about a guy who stops time and uses it for sexual voyeurism. Sex criminals is about two people who stop time when they have orgasms and use this power to commit crimes to benefit good causes (Robin Hood with the arrows replaced with genitals, basically).

The artist (Chip) has actually shown photos the two real people those characters are based on. They are dead ringers for the characters and neither of them are Matt Fraction or his wife. So maybe we've learned a lesson about narcissism vs. presumption?

The reboot has it's problems but I think Garfield is a much better Peter Parker than Maguire.

I'd rather have 2 hours of a great game than 40 hours of a terrible one. The original Portal was half that length and it was nearly perfect.

It's like they don't precache any of a level's assets, so any time there's a big camera shift (like, say, during a dramatic chase scene where I'm supposed to use QTEs) the game stutters badly.

Same issues here with the season pass (ultimately just bought the episode and was refunded), but completely concur with your assessment of their game engine. And trust me, as much as I love ep 2, their are PLENTY of moments where the jitters, lag, stuttering, or all three deter from the total experience.

Romita Jr is probably my favorite comic artist. I've hated this new Superman take, but it looks pretty good by his hand.
