Nikki has turned into a good wrestler. She’s not on the level of the Boss or anything, but she’s had some strong matches the last year or so. Brie is no good though, and neither should ever be within 15 feet of a mic.

Other than Dana Brooke, who might as well have WWE TOTAL DIVA tattooed on her face a la Leto’s Joker and is a living dumpster fire of a wrestler, it is night and day when comparing WWE’s roster to NXT’s. I could watch an entire hour of NXT devoted to women’s wrestling; now with AJ gone (and Paige off filming a movie),

I honestly read that as “HERE COMES ANOTHER CRISIS” rather than “WE’RE NOT DOING ANOTHER CRISIS,” but I could see it going either way. This story is contained to Justice League, there are no (planned or announced) tie-ins or anything, so Darkseid War itself shouldn’t be a stealth Crisis (especially considering we’re

Sure, but my larger point is that if it’s not Miller, flaws and all, it’s not DKR. I’d rather have a super flawed, Miller-is-crazy DKR than an overpriced Batman book that just happens to have his name on it and uses his version of the character. If we’re going to do an Azzarello Batman book with Jim Lee or whomever on

If Frank Miller isn’t drawing it, and he’s not even writing it on his own, this is essentially a cash-in on a known quantity before the guy dies. That’s pretty sad. It’s not DKR if you have a co-writer and a team of artists. This is Before Watchmen Part Deux, albeit less offensive given that Miller is at least

If Miller isn’t writing it and drawing it (more emphasis on the latter, I suppose), what is the point. It’s not a DKR sequel, it’s just another standalone Batman book. I’d rather he just finish writing the rest of All-Star Batman (or Dark Knight: Boy Wonder or whatever they’re calling it now).

I think it was a mistake for DC to treat this like a big event, when everyone knows it’s a band-aid for the move to CA. They created expectations it can’t match, and if Didio weren’t comparing it to Crisis books that wouldn’t be the case. I think, more than any other event in this era, it’s a “make it through this

Really fantastic read, and they’ve got a new series (unrelated to TPE) in the works for panelsyndicate.com. As much as I miss Martin drawing Spider-Man, I hope this creative team makes comics together for the rest of their lives. Brilliant stuff.

Thanks for letting us know.

That left silhouette that should be Iron Man has a really weird helmet-esque shape to the head, makes me think it'll be some different version of the character. Or someone else entirely. (Or, yes, just a new suit of armor but work with me here)

Tried playing the second heist with randoms and it was absolutely miserable (made it as far as the airstrip shootout, never got any further and that's as much as I've seen of heists past the first one). Ready to pay friends to upgrade to the XB1 version just so I can play these damn heists the way they should be

They should be seen 0% of the time.

Given the quality of Snyder & Capullo's run, I have complete faith in whatever the hell they're about to do. Biggest departure of the three, for sure, but when you build up as much capital as they have, you gotta spend it sometime.

That Wonder Woman look is SO close. Lose the shoulder pads, shorten up the boots and dear lord drop the 90s wrist blades and you've got a pretty nice evolution of her costume. A little busy maybe, but definitely workable.

Yes, that's the one. You could start with Thor #1 and probably be ok, but I would honestly recommend reading Thor: God of Thunder first. Written by the same writer and Thor is basically the 2nd volume of his story, even if it is a fresh start. The only bit you'd be missing is why Odinson can't lift the hammer anymore,

Sounds like someone never read Gail Simone's Secret Six series. Deadshot and Bane are fantastic characters when used properly. Unfortunately, they are rarely used properly, so.

Strong list. Mine would be different, but I don't argue with most of yours. I do think Deadly Class is a much better book compared to Black Science if we're talking Remender creator-owned. I enjoy Black Science a lot, but I honestly think Deadly Class might be the best thing Remender's ever written, and the art is

1. A pox on everyone in here typing "Spiderman."

The other potentially intriguing side of this is Multiversity. It's pretty odd that it's happening alongside Convergence and this relaunch (I know it's basically a coincidence created by delays, but still), and will most likely have nothing to do with either, but it is mapping out the multiverse and basically opening

"Avengers active rosters are never that big, even for the mainline team."
