If they want to give us the authentic experience, there better be a fully realized Batcave in this game. Can't believe we've yet to see that in this series (the challenge DLC for AC does not count, nor does the secondary cave in AA). I think the Batcave is the biggest omission so far, moreso than Robin or a playable

The only people who don't want to play as that guy are in Al-Qaeda.

Great news, I love that costume. Cool that they're adding some of the character in too, instead of just a new skin. I'm assuming he won't have special moves, but something involving his spider drones would be a nice touch.

Love these games so much. First three games are up there with any other JRPG in my book. There was such a fun amount of intrigue and world building throughout - the whole Pesmerga vs Yuber thing was so damn interesting. Really wish we'd get a proper continuation of the Suikoden world (i.e. not Tierkreis), even if was

Man, it seems like a lot of people in here missed that something/someone made Superman kill Dr. Light (if he's even dead), which is weird 'cause Johns went out of his way to make it obvious; you've got two different characters saying he didn't do it, and then Superman acting very confused after the act. I'm not saying

I hope you're mistaking Youngblood for WildCATS, 'cause Lee's style couldn't be further from Liefeld's.

Jeanty's art can be inconsistent, but this is as Buffy as it gets.

Also, wow - apparently not too many Kotaku readers read AC: The Fall and AC: The Chain. Assassin on the far right is Nikolai Orelov, a Russian. Really can't recommend those books enough, great story that added a lot to the AC universe.

That's Nikolai Orelov, from the Assassin's Creed comics The Fall and The Chain (both of which are excellent). He's Russian.

This is unsurprising but exciting news. For all the bitching re: annualization, this series has taken more risks and introduced more variety in each installment than any other franchise undertaking yearly releases. It hasn't all been positive, of course - Revelations was a huge disappointment and bore all the flaws of

I really hope this turns out great. Hard to not be skeptical, though - I remember how amazing Ghost Recon Future Soldier looked the first couple times it was shown off. The fact that they're calling this an RPG is exciting to me, even though it obviously seems more the Mass Effect 3 type.

Az-Bats skin! Az-Bats skin! Az-Bats skin!

Absolutely. I understand being skeptical or not wanting to hype up an unfinished game, but I'm really tired of the overbearing cynicism in every AC article on this site. It's starting to feel like I'm reading some unloved fanboy's tumblr, rather than a professional gaming site that I usually love and respect.

It's really depressing watching what's happening at DC right now. There are some really great comics and some really great creators over there, but when you have so many writers and artists speaking out about the way things are being done, and when you have so many comics failing or being launched in a tone-deaf

Yeah, the way they handled that whole scene was fantastic. I'm dying for Phonogram v3 to get going but Young Avengers makes the wait a lot easier.

I think Young Avengers was the best thing I read this week, and while the whole initial Loki sequence was the highlight for me, I love how McKelvie did this:

NO ONE would take Red Tornado. Let's not say things we can't take back.

Having played the main game to 100%, I certainly did not go into this DLC expecting it to "have fun" with the idea or play anything for laughs. Kinda not sure why anyone would expect otherwise, really. Maybe it's reading comics for years and years but I enjoyed the "everyone's a bad guy now" angle. The plot was thin,

Batman by Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo is your best bet if you're looking to jump into current Batman comics.

He's blind in one eye, so...no.
