Let’s see, the head of the EPA doesn’t believe in protecting the environment, the head of the Department of Education doesn’t believe in public schools, the head of DoJ’s Civil Rights division doesn’t believe in civil rights.... yep, that’s the Cheetolini administration.

The uber rich, police commissioners, journalists...this shit sounds like a party at Wayne Manor. How come the Joker never crashes these types of events IRL?

Her erasure of other character she of color in her previous films is what prints the conversations. And she is a serious and very talented film maker so let’s try not to excuse this by saying that she is just turned on by pretty stuff.

Just gotta throw this in: Edwina is a student, not a teacher. She and Miss Harriet (the teacher and Miss Martha’s sister) are collapsed into Dunst’s character.

To be fair, she wanted to focus on the dynamics of gender in the South, not the racial dynamics (because apparently you can’t be affected by both)

It’s always crazy how she eliminated Black people in the freaking Antebellum South, whose entire lifestyle was predicated on slaves for crying out loud.

Hip Hop has to be the only genre of music where the lyrics are ripped apart and taken this literally instead of the less interesting interpretation of “If you let me” is a turn of phrase and isn’t meant to be literal. Let a rapper drop a song and the comments section turn into my 12th grade AP lit class.

It’s a turn of phrase. Not literally, I mean, damn. Y’all are so pressed to find fault with these two.

That’s the real problem. If you can’t respect your wife and kids in the first place, fuck your bravado when she leaves and another man or woman takes your place.

if a crack addict says “keep the crack away, I can’t resist it”, would you say that addict is blaming the crack for their problem?

IDK. Jay-Z was dragged (rightfully so) on an ENTIRE album. The entire world knows that Shawn Carter cheated. And if she was okay with saying it on an album for the entire world to see/hear, I’m sure he was throughly ‘punished’ at home.

I don’t know how you completely ignored the first line, he’ll fuck up a good thing if you let him.

Uh, did you listen to Lemonade? Beyonce doesn’t diss Becky at all, just references her. It’s all about the deep betrayal from Jay-Z and then the eventual redemption and forgiveness. I haven’t heard Jay-Z’s song yet, but the lyrics shared were him talking to himself and placing the blame squarely on his own self.

Jay has me shook. The album is genuinely really good. No I.D. did the damn thing with the production and Jay is not only rapping about something of substance, but he’s not holding back either.

Um, I think “Becky” is a representation of all the women he’s cheated with, not just one.

Uh, Becky tried to get cute on Instagram right after Lemonade dropped with some “good hair don’t care” bullshit, got dragged to hell and read for filth, and then deleted her Instagram citing “bullying.”

It’s like a perfect representation of their brand, though. Take something talented black people have done and stamp their face all over it for profit.

Have you seen “Chewing Gum”? The creator/star specifically wanted to portray people who live in a housing project in a positive light. I think it worked, and it’s almost painfully hilarious.

The argument was that queen Elizabeth couldn’t possible be racist since she regularly interacts with them. Since prince Philip usually is present as well this just shows that “she regularly interacts with people of color so she can’t be racist” is a non sense argument. Nowhere did I blame her for his racism or say his

OK but is Josh quoting Ms. Jackson in that photo shading his new wife?
