Her accusations do more to put her at risk than him. She’s a staffer who may not get any political staffing jobs after this, unless she runs for office again, her political career is over. No one is going to want to hire someone they’re worried will complain to the press.

It’s the tone of their reply, it’s disrespectful and she was right to quit. There’s a specific kind of disrespect you get as a black woman when you make demands, like how dare you ask for the same freebies that plenty of other executives at ABC have probably requested before.

I don’t wanna get anyone sued but sounds like Bert McCracken from The Used. He was my favorite in high school, guess I’m lucky I never got to go to one of their shows.

If cis-gendered white (mostly male) gays didn’t hijack the movement and make it about themselves, then yes we could be equally concerned about all members of the community, but the LGBTQ community as a whole has the same issues with race and transphobia that straight people do (quiet as it’s kept).

Just as frustrating as it is for you to see a misogynist call out white women (and again I think it’s important that we mention he’s targeting white women not all women) on racism it’s frustrating for black feminists and other women of color to see…

It’s not so much the is she/isn’t she in terms of Cleopatra’s whiteness that’s so annoying so much as the fact that there are thousands (rough guess here) of other royals on the African continent who are indisputably black - why can’t we have movies about them instead?

what the hell happened here? Was she just that convincing that her grift got past basically every one of her peers and colleagues? Was this an “emperor’s clothes” situation and everyone was just categorically too afraid to say something?

There’s nothing to suggest that she was shot “accidentally”. That’s why she wouldn’t speak up about gun safety because it’s completely unrelated. Her being shot is more of an issue of violence against women and misogynoir.

As someone who puts together briefings for a living, this is it. He just didn’t read his book - guarantee it was probably in there.

I work for municipal government and yes voting at the local level is very important. However, the issue people take with saying “go vote” is that candidates that reflect the values people are protesting for don’t enjoy enough support outside of our communities to make it to the ballot.

It’s far more likely that he’s embarrassed that he was abused up until his mid teens (see what happened with Terry Crews) and lied about the dates. 

At least for me (someone who is currently struggling to lay off loans to my fancy college - finaid was good but they still gotta make $$) it’s important because I had to take out tens thousands of dollars just to be employable. She doesn’t even need an education for her already lucrative career and yet her parents…

Actually even they had the decency not to waste Kris’s money like that. None of them went except for Kourt and Rob. The money they paid in fillers has gone much further than a degree would in the same hands.

Not necessarily. He’s ineligible for Dreamer status because of a previous criminal history. By trying to legalize his status - he not only draws attention to himself but to the legal status of his family as well, putting them at risk.
