Tron could be such a lucrative franchise for Disney, but outside of the wonderful PC game Tron 2.0, they haven’t produced any great products nor demonstrated any interesting ideas and followed through.

This movie is directed by the same guys who made Game Night, and that’s one of my favorite comedies from the last five years, so I’m in.

I’m reading one of the prequels and kinda enjoying Doric. So now I’m worried the movie will be an entirely different character.

I never put too much stock in those first reviews because they are always over the top, but man do I hope they mostly right. I am rooting for this movie.

Only wish the take-away would make it into the rich heads: it’s the writing. Everything else can be mostly director-ed/edited away; but bad writing is ever lasting (financial) doooom.
