looks like Alien and Aliens smushed together into one movie without offering anything new

Still looks like Alien and Aliens smushed together into one movie without offering anything new. Every Alien movie since the original has introduced something new to the series, for good or bad, so hopefully this one has some kind of take they aren’t putting in the trailers.

I kinda loved the ridiculousness of Dazzler taking down Black Bolt in that, but yeah, IvX was dreadful.

For the love of Galactus, I hope this DOESN’T happen.

I’m just glad Imagineering finally abandoned those terrible projected faces. Really breaks the immersion when every animatronic has a spotlight centered right on their mug because it’s cheaper than moving eyes and lips.

Go be a cunt somewhere else, bubbrubb66.

no it’s part of the monsterverse as is american godzilla films. kong skull island is not a godzilla film just as the gamera films are not godzilla films.

the bts doc for The Phantom Menace is probably one of the best documentary thats ever came out. its like watching a trainwreck in slowmo.

Every time I reappraise them, I find they still suck.

If you really lean into the road trip aspect, the game is beautiful.

Those movies are designed, lit, and filmed in specific ways to take advantage of the format, to emphasize specific textures and contrasts. (And that’s also why colorized movies always look

How would that help them watch a black and white movie in a theater?

Captain Marvel is not a bad film. It was a pretty standard superhero film with a great performance by Brie Larson, who played an interstellar warrior who actually acted like an interstellar warrior. No cute puns. No flirting with the guys. She embodied violence and I appreciated that.

Hold up

Dark Fate was great
Genisys had interesting ideas and a understanding of recurring time travel that most others didn’t
Chronicles had genuine storytelling
Salvation showed us all kinds of new stuff
Rise of the Machines was terrible
Judgment Day was AWESOME
The OG was OG

it would be cool if people who liked terminator

I mean, it’s definitely the best of the PS1 trilogy.
