I haven’t read that. I’ll have to look into it. It’s always weird to be when people downplay the horror genre like it never had anything to say back in through the decades

The slasher genre, at least at its height in the 80s, wasn’t meant to chastise promiscuous teens. You’re removing the context of the era the films were made in. It was meant to chastise and annoy Reaganites of 80s who generally wanted those they saw as undesirables in America (recreational users, the sexually

I thought the player beat the game without damaging anything and I was ready to be impressed, but it’s just a no damage taken run which is whatever

Played several iterations of the game through early access on Steam in 2019, but I held off on doing the last boss or two that they’ve added over the last couple years so I could give it an earnest full play through when they completed it (which, like most things, ran into covid related delays). It really was, even in

It’s a shame Marvel Heroes Omega failed and was also severely affected by the CEO of Gazillion Games’ “alleged” (but fairly well documented) sexual misconduct. Everyone else in that studio deserved better than the shit show of that game’s collapse in late 2017. I was an active player from closed beta to server

I too came here to quote Quint from Jaws. But since you’ve already used the one I was going to let’s go with... “Stop playing with yourself, Hooper!”

Joe Keery is in the movie Free Guy. There is a core plot point, borrowed almost exactly from the movie Tron, where the truth about who made the game in the movie is hidden in the digital world.

As someone who bounces back between both roles - survivor and killer, and also has over 1000 hours, I agree. Part of it is the event, which can sometimes drive up individual trials to be worth over 500% experience, is making things very high stakes for people. Another aspect is there is a contingent of players who see

After about 8 months or so of not playing I got back into the game last week after I saw the season 2 DLC was on sale (and really I just want the 4th skill tree) and I went through the laborious process of farming some of my favorite weapons again.... whoops. Guess I’m doing that again

I’m right there with you. First person kills it for me.

I wish someone would bring back Marvel Heroes. Just let me have my X-Men Diablo again, damn it!

X-Men 1 came out 2000 and was written and filmed in the late 90s. It came out a year before Ultimate X-Men did in 2001. X2 is based on God Loves, Man Kills a comic from the early 1980s. What are you on about?

As others have voiced here the Dead by Daylight community can get pretty annoying pretty quickly. In the game, out of the game, there’s a lot of extreme personalities drawn to this game due to its competitive nature and horror theming. I’ve had post-game death threats for losing the match as a killer. Like... sorry I

Not particularly. The game drags on for a long time and you’re mostly repeating the same tasks in slightly rearranged areas. The terrifying xenomorph becomes more of a nuisance you’re tired of dealing with by the time you’ve done the same kind of door puzzle for the 30th time.

I absolutely adore FF12 and have played it many times. I got no such feelings of 12 from this 16 trailer outside of 12 took the genre a tad more serious - it had tons of charm (except Vaan. Vaan is the worst). There’s no charm here.

Absolutely fantastic vision for these characters.

There’s a joke about dying from a virus in here too.

For sure. Unfortunately there were many factors that lead to Marvel Heroes’ demise, so while Marvel/Disney might not have pulled the license specifically for this new game, it certainly helped.

I know it never got a lot of love outside of the small dedicated fanbase, but I deeply miss Marvel Heroes.

Face/Off is unwatchable and to this day I do not get why people praise it so much.
