As others have voiced here the Dead by Daylight community can get pretty annoying pretty quickly. In the game, out of the game, there’s a lot of extreme personalities drawn to this game due to its competitive nature and horror theming. I’ve had post-game death threats for losing the match as a killer. Like... sorry I

I know it will never happen, but I would love to see her back in one of these movies too.

Oh shit, we need Kevin Bacon, Fred Ward and the dad from Family Ties in here STAT!

Yeah. I was there as a teen and it was insane. It was such a different time though. Few modern movies get that “slow build” anymore like a lot of stuff in the 80s and 90s could. Sure you get the weird one offs like The Greatest Showman that hung in the box office forever and steadily increased over the weeks and

Scream 5 getting dumped in January isn’t a great sign. I know Jan/Feb aren’t the dregs they used to be, but still makes me wonder if something went wrong there.

Pushed back to December 2022.

Kinda fitting they made harmless toy guns for a franchise where firearms have traditionally been very ineffective and most of the characters who use them tend to get eaten.

Almost everything from Black Widow has leaked though. Plot points, ending, real villain, who lives/dies etc.

I appreciate the well used Captain Holt gifs

Oh that would be fantastic. I’d love to see that moment play out.

Now playing

Oh the original Tron was just insane how they went about creating a digital world mostly through analog technology. Even when they used computers to animate something it was all coded by hand with 3D grid references. I could listen to the creators talk about it for hours. It was painstaking, but so unique and cutting

For me this season is firing on almost all cylinders save for one: the Naomi, Filip and Marco storyline is doing nothing for me. Naomi just seems like a POV character for Marco’s story, who feels like a typical egocentric villain passed off as righteous freedom fighter. I haven’t read the books and I’m told this

I know the movie has a lot of detractors, and to a degree I get it (yes, we know CGI Jeff Bridges is a rubbery uncanny valley and I’d love for them to go back and deepfake in a better version), but I absolutely love the movie and this soundtrack in particular is a big reason. I also grew up both with the original

I pared back some of my original comment that pointed out that Heroes was basically X-Men on TV.

Tim Kring’s response is uhh.... it’s something, huh? It kind of admits guilt, kind of brushes things off and also kind of glorifies himself? It’s peak non-apology.

This is my take as well. I said to myself “They’re giving him a super niche, super high budget IP again? Guess we’re never seeing part 2" waaaay before covid was throwing anything into question. I say that as someone who is a really big fan of his films and likes BR2049 quite a bit.

This was BY far the worst episode this season.

I’m glad someone said it. I’ve taken so much flack for loving this one. And you gave a fair assessment. It’s an imperfect movie. Nothing’s going to hit the heights of the original film, but Predators is fun and works in spite some of its failings. I think Adrien Brody has a wild performance that’s so outside of type

That wasn’t Willem’s point. His point was that Star Wars is not worth targeted harassment campaigns which Star Wars “fans” are unfortunately prone to do. At the end of the day no matter what heights Star Wars hits or how much it means to people it is inherently silly on some fundamental levels and death threats in the

Damn if I don’t love Annihilation. One of my absolute favorite movies from the last 10 years. Jennifer Jason Leigh’s grim determination was really fitting for the film version of the character, though it would have been interesting to see her tackle the even more duplicitous incarnation of the character from the book
