OK that’s cool and all but can I have Candyman now?

For sure. Unfortunately there were many factors that lead to Marvel Heroes’ demise, so while Marvel/Disney might not have pulled the license specifically for this new game, it certainly helped.

I know it never got a lot of love outside of the small dedicated fanbase, but I deeply miss Marvel Heroes.

Here I am thinking “what’s the point of the expanded aspect ration when Disney+ will just crop it wrong?” but your take is way better.

I love GDT and love Frankenstein. If I’m not getting At the Mountains of Madness at least maybe I can get this*

Honestly you could apply your comment to just about at Netflix show

I truly do not understand the love for this movie. It’s a mess.

Zak Penn is such a shitty writer.

That makes more sense haha

I really, really want Tron 3. I grew up with the first movie. I absolutely adored the 2nd one and watch it a lot with my nephew who also enjoys it a lot. We talk about the new roller coaster opening in Disney World all the time.

2010's Predators actually did really well for itself and all things considered I now considered it the 2nd best installment in that franchise and definitely a step above whatever that Robocop remake was trying to do. I mean I love Danny Glover, but Predator 2 is a bit of a slog before it gets fun.

Face/Off is unwatchable and to this day I do not get why people praise it so much.

Such a fantastic show. Not crazy about the move to a streaming service I have zero interest in otherwise.

And not Lake’s exploration of personhood or right to exist as more than a tool? There were some serious Blade Runner vibes in season 2 that were immeasurably more engaging than the pseudo-religious delinquents. Not that I won’t watch season 3 when I start a weeks free trial of HBO-Max and cancel it on day 6 because

Megaguirus is a TERF? Good glad she gets wrecked then.

The ending is pretty simple. The movie itself is about story telling. It’s about what makes a good story when stories, and particularly film, are inherently fake. It’s about why audiences generally like a good story even when they know Luke Skywalker isn’t real and we aren’t cloning dinosaurs and opening a theme park

So glad Beeragon is part of the Godzilla fan community. She does a lot of these animations and they’re all splendid, so I’ve followed her on twitter for a while, but this one is pretty exceptional.

25 movies here and less than half of them are worth revisiting. Especially compared to the 1980s list. We can cheat if we move the goal posts and count the Alien 3 Assembly Cut which never released theatrically and wasn’t available until a home media release 11 years later. Still I don’t know anyone that reaches for

Well how else are they going to get you to buy $15 alternate skins based on whatever you favorite costume was for your favorite hero?

I think one thing not pointed out here, which the show only lightly plays with, is the queerness of Nandor and Guillermo on top of the vampires in general being portrayed as pansexual. Harvey Guillen, who portrays Guillermo identifies as queer, seems to intentionally bring some of that element to the role. It’s another
