Wilhelm scream takes me right out of the clip...

I’d go so far as to say there’s absolutely zero white people on that planet. Some characters have lighter skin, sure, but in cases like Tahno it reflects the real world classism in Asian cultures as being fair skinned is prized by the wealthy or “higher class” citizens. The mechanist at best could be described as

You need to have a good cry, man. This is not even remotely close to a stable reaction to a blog post about toys. They do these articles every once in a while. There was literally an article for The Predator Pops just last month. Same shit different day. Gotta sell sell sell. This won’t be the last.

So back at the end of July a good friend of mine closed down his gaming/collectible shop (he got an offer on the property that was too good to pass) and on the last couple days I was helping around the store he put the Pops on Buy 1 get 2 and then FREE and we STILL had to move a couple hundred of them. Literally

Unlike the 80's everyone’s gonna vote for “Fuck Batman” and we’re gonna get something way weirder than crowbars to the face...

In all seriousness if you’re having this extreme a reaction to an animated movie made for children on cable you really need to talk to someone. It’s meant for children in the 6 - 11 year old demographics. You’re gonna be OK.

If they put all that complexity in a movie instead of, you know, a disparate spread of animation, comics, novels and everything under the sun that isn’t a movie, he might not get criticized and lambasted.

Concerning Karl Urban - Panthro was always coded as a black man. A lot of fans probably wouldn’t be keen on that casting.

I loved it in Godzilla.

Holy hell I totally forgot Prometheus actually is that whole “ancient aliens” thing going for it despite me always making fun of it for the whole “Jesus was an alien” shtick and Damon Lindelof in general. My first thought for “Lovecraft in space” is Paul W.S. Anderson’s Event Horizon. I will definitely check out that

I imagine the MGS movie would be a lot like the Matrix sequels. Extremely fascinating, with deep intricacies to its lore that will have fans discussing things like the nature of censorship, artificial intelligence, the fear of proxy wars using private military corporations (which god damn everything that’s going on

Exactly. In the future she becomes a vampire/nurse/telecommunications mogul because... reasons.

Article says this is in the upcoming episode this week.

... that’s the joke. Donald’s not usually voiced by Cheadle in the show. Just in this one-off where Donald gets a voice modulator for the episode. The original announcement video at comic con simply referred to Cheadle’s accolades as “Thanos survivor”. It’s very much tongue in cheek.

....and then vanishes between episodes for seemingly no explained reason.

Not only that but he’s specifically dressed like he was for his Raw special

I can barely stand the plot of the show and liberally fast forward through the plot lines of several characters, but damn when that show gets to a fight scene or action set piece it’s pretty much the greatest. Though thankfully by the end of season 2 they killed off a lot of painfully boring characters and introduced

Holy hell was that Michael Bolton? I love how he leaned into doing all these kinds of things after The Lonely Island stuff.

In the book, when Saruman decides that the best way to beat Sauran is to take his place, which is a big no no for the Malar (the race of the wizards), he renounced his place in the hierarchy as Saruman the White and proclaimed himself Saruman of the Many Colors and he kinda comes out like that when he reveals himself

I would laugh so hard at the deeply confused audience if/when that movie comes out. “Did they turn one of those Malaysian knock-off toys into a movie?”
