How to write a script in 2015: “just put something that was better 20 years ago into the movie. Pad it with Michael Bay stock footage. Profit."

It works even in the bedroom . . .

I have a thing against holding studios (even shitty ones) to some impossible catch-22. That just makes it bitching for the sake of bitching which gets no one anywhere.

Salvation was ten times better than T3 could ever hope to be. It at least tried to be it’s own thing, whereas T3 purposefully shat on the prior movies for little to no reason.

Nope. I’m tired of this.

On the other hand, I always found that the people and government of NYC not only quickly forgetting the Ghostbusters, but also using them as a scapegoat seemed pretty realistic. It also fit into the theme of the movie - “negativity vs positivity”. But I’m also a super jaded resident of NYC so... yeah. Also these lines.

If GB2 removed all the kitschy late 80s Bobby Brown hiphop/the actual Bobby Brown cameo I think it would be much more respected than it is.

Not as flashy as the original proton-packs. I wonder if this is a proto-proton-pack...

Every time someone tries to blame their problems on the ridiculously empty “SJW” term I kinda wonder how the human race has made it this far.

The only part I can kind of get behind is the invasive species part. Those things wreak havoc on ecosystems. Hell there already is a problem with regular and wild pigs being an invasive species in the US. Now imagine pigs that you’d need the Hulkbuster armor to put down? I can see the cause for concerns since when

X-Men DoFP should more than put Rogue in, they should remove Magneto, Quicksilver, Wolverine, Trask’s device that would have prevented Mystique’s assassination attempt on him, the horrible time travel rules and... well they really should get rid of the whole movie altogether.

It’s 2015. We shouldn’t have had such a shitty X-Men movie last year. Yet here we are...

DBZ Abridged has thankfully replaced all my memories of DBZ. Also those had hundreds of episodes of filler. AoT has had one season of what? 24 episodes? The ratio of screaming/doing nothing to actually doing anything is skewed heavily towards the oddly much beloved AoT.

If I could give a tagline to the decade that was the 90s it would be “More annoying than charming”

If that ship had anything it had arms. Pretty much the only ship that could beat any other spaceship in a knife fight lol

Because there are so many “real” people are hanging onto a show that had half a season 12 years ago. That’s so much more realistic than anime doing something first... Just saying, by the parameters of the list FF barely registers.

Star Wars is pretty much fantasy...

It’s unfortunate that there were more episodes Death Note after the first... oh 10 - 12 episodes. I’d say Attack on Titan revolutionized main characters screaming and doing nothing for entire episodes, but really Walking Dead and Game of Thrones has that beat in spades in that department.

Oh you mean the sci-fi with western twang thing from every anime in the late 90s? Or are we just going to forget about everything that copied Cowboy Bebop for years? Or that everyone on the show is Han Solo? I’m trying really, really hard to figure out what Firefly is held in such high esteem. Entertaining? Maybe.

Avengers: Minor Inconvenience of Ultron.
