Yeah I assumed they'd all be smeared in blood from the beginning, maybe with a couple of slave zombies on chains.

Do you think Olivia is still in the food pantry, pointing that gun at the door? First person to get a craving for cream of celery is screwed…

I love the self-indulgent inside jokes like Naomi Campbell being a Vogue editor, Wes Bentley being congratulated on an Oscar, Lady Gaga being told she has "a type." (referencing that all the male actors look alike). But my favorite was “I don’t give a shit! I’m coming out in a Lars von Trier movie next year!”

[ROLLS EYES] Please go somewhere else to talk serious politics, this is AVC, not CNN.

Yeah I'm a little surprised. I've agreed with AVC on this show's episodes largely until now.

Clark Gregg is a very credible actor. The exposition they're describing came from him (eg. what happened to May). It was bad exposition. Amazing acting can't always overcome badly written infodumps. Look at Ian Mckellen in X-Men 3.

I'd give it a B. The exposition WAS pretty lousy.

He's good, no doubt, but why the hell does the character answer every question with a long soliloquy about mass murder?

Abigail Breslin was grossly miscast, and her role is terrible to begin with. I'm going to give her the benefit of the doubt. Also, she's the killer.

It's funny that we are spending so much time dissecting the comedic elements, while politically incorrect, are just not funny. Most of the jokes fell with a thud. I kinda chuckled a few times, and that's being generous.

That's my little octopussy.

First season suffered from a major bipolar identity crisis. Was the show trying to be campy like the Tim Burton films, or gritty like the Nolan films? This season so far seems to take on the former. It's still got an identity crisis (no camp with the Bruce Wayne arc), but at least it has a little more direction.

Srsly? Making militant political posts on AV Club? I come here to avoid crap like this. smdh

It's not just the individual characters, it's the whole town. You'd think they'd bring in the national guard at some point. This thing stretched over the course of weeks.

Audrey has to be a Red Herring. We saw her grieve privately for Rachael. There's no way they would start the second season with the audience fully knowing who the killer is.

Somehow Bjork is on almost all of the DVD's.

You were always bummed? Is this an old article or something?

And apparently they haven't gotten to the Spike Jonze one yet *cough*Pharcyde*cough*

I'll add:

Points for the double entendre.
