Jim and Pam are great. They are cute. They are fine, but a bit boring. They are common. Normal. Leslie and Ben are aspirational as fuck.

Don’t Trust the B is literally the best thing on tv in the past few years.

Same with both “Don’t Trust the B in Apt 23" and “Crazy Ex Girlfriend”. Whenever I recommend either show to people i always have to say “The show is way better than the title! I swear! Just try it!”

Parks and Rec really took a couple of seasons to hit it it’s stride. I went back and watched the first couple of episodes recently and thought “what is this even!” It’s an ensemble show that stated out focused on Leslie, once it flushed out it’s cast and their stories it got really good.

The fact that Jerry’s life is actually pretty amazing is genuinely one of my favorite things about Parks and Rec.

I wonder which episodes/seasons you watched, because I started with season 1 and couldn’t stand it. Then Mark Brendanawicz (just googled that for the spelling, would not have guessed in a million years) left and it got SO MUCH BETTER. I think he sucked the air out of it- he was just such an unpleasant character.

I always cry during the scene where she walks over the coals.... like snot coming out my nose ugly cry. It was one of the sadder moments but the end where they have that talk.... oh god I just loved them so much. My boyfriend hates when I watch the office because I just cry and yell JIM IS THE PERFECT MAN at the TV over and over.

it always gets me. they’re both very flawed characters but they love each other so much, it’s very touching.

It’s funny I wasn’t even that into them (I didn’t think I was) but I was just thinking about the proposal the other day. For no good reason. And got a little chocked up.  

I wanted to punch the TV when he pulled his letter out of the tea kettle at the Christmas party.

Literally every time I think about them getting married alone under Niagara Falls, I get chills. Like right now. Or when they find out they’re pregnant in the ER. I love them so much it’s probably kind of unhealthy tbh.
