Yeah it will trip a fault code, but I have never had a car go into a limp mode from the sensors not being connected, again I really only have experience with this on modern Ford products so maybe it is different, but I have a hard time believing that it would be safe to force a limp mode when an ABS sensor inevitably…

At least on a modern ford it is, I would assume its the same on others too, if you don’t have a wheel speed sensor how would you have ABS or traction/stability control?

I get that but it was like 4k and at the end of the day this is the most unloved worst driving 911 possibly ever and its 13k. I’m not saying I would want a neon over a 911 I’m saying I would not want this 911 and as far as neons go that is one that I would consider paying for.

I do not understand how there is so much love for this car that is in crap shape and has an auto, I’ve driven a car almost identical but in better shape and was not impressed at all. Totally agree, also if this was some random guy in an m3 or mustang everybody would be jumping all over them but noo magnus walker in an air cooled 911? lets jump to his defense! sorry, I just have never liked the guy and its things like this that justify it for me.

to be fair it wouldn’t fit in the viper... its been said many times the hemi is too tall.

This is so dumb.. show me a well maintained fairly relible old 911 for anywhere NEAR camary money. I would say a decent air cooled 911 would easily be 40k these days and guess what, for the vast majority of us who can’t buy something over 25k straight cash we would probably struggle to get a decent loan for one.

Thats actually not true, get the technology package and it gives you the large sync screen and the shaker 500 aka the same infotainment as a premium package GT.
