I love him too. Despite his flaws and the flaws of his tenure, he’s been the best POTUS of my lifetime.

I was just coming to post that very video. Did you know that they actually invited her and her family to the White House to meet the President? He was so sweet to her and it gave me so many feels, she was super happy.

That’s what I came here to say. I love him SO fucking much, these pictures made my heart want to explode.

Those tears got that child and her family a personal invitation to the White House Easter Egg Roll this year! Sigh. Damn kids have all the luck.

I can’t believe how much humanity he has and how kids loooooove him because he clearly looooove all kids. All the good and great stuff he’s done... nothing, to me, compares to his kid time—-> legacy.

I was looking at these pictures with my 2 year old, who said, “he playing, mama?” I told her yes, he’s playing. That’s why these pictures are so amazing.

I think part of it is that after eight years of embarrassing moments and anti-intellectualism in the White House, a funny intellectual is the course correction so many of us thought we needed.

I feel like I’m going to be crying and mentally hanging on to Obama’s ankles on January 17, 2017, screaming, “Don’t leave us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

I love his obvious joy at spending time with all children. I love his genuine charming enthusiasm for everything. You can see the dorky smart eleven-year-old he must have been inside, still thinking”I can’t believe I get to do this for part of my job!”

I love Obama! I'm glad that his approval ratings have gone up now that people realize the shit show we are about get in a few months.

I love him so much. I’ve never been so sad to see a president go.
