And the armrests..  those horrid armrests...

Wife and I tried the Subarus at the LA Auto show, and I think we’re too used to riding in my truck. :-)  Need a bit more room and the ride height feel.  Of course, the Wilderness does have better ground clearance.  The new Jeep didn’t spark joy either.

There’s another rule that’s emerging here..  if an auto company is comparing their product to a competitors, the competitor’s product is probably the one you should be buying..

But then you still have those horrid armrests... give this thing a center console armrest and I might consider it..

Goes along with the rest of the “sticker and stitches” upgrades that this and the Ridgeline HPD have.

I want a mild offroader, and right now I’m looking at the Explorer Timberline, which at least has some mechanical changes.

Yeah, but Honda is selling this for the trail, and it literally has nothing for the trail over a different trim level.  Same for the HPD package for the Ridgeline, which is nothing more that stickers and different colored plastics.

The fatal flaw with the Passport, and some of Honda’s other vehicles, is those horrific “armrests”, which are neither placed correctly, or wide enough.

Rust and an oversized fleet..  you really need to start hanging out with Jason more and not David..

Ugh...  One would have hoped that they would have gotten rid of the Botox cheeks on the front end.  Guess that design is gonna stay in the new 4Runner when it comes out too.

Can’t wait for all the TeslaBros to come here justifying this as normal and safe, staged or not.

The biggest damage to him will be if he gets de-listed as an approved tower for AAA. There goes the business up in smoke.

So since no one here wants police to chase anyone, we either let violent criminals go free.. or we give police some sort of kill switch to stop all vehicles.   Neither of those is good, but we won’t have chases!

Having done this for corporate work before, they just leave an empty chair.

So..  we make carjacking legal then? or just prosecute it like SF does with shoplifting?

So much fuss about this...  as soon as I saw the title and 3 seconds of the tease, I new what “entertainment district” they were talking about.

I was never so insulted as I was in a Chinese restaurant in Chinatown in LA many years ago, went in with 3 Asian friends, and the waiter, without asking took away the chopsticks, and gave me a fork. I stared at him, not saying a word, until he took the fork away and gave me the chopsticks back.

So, the fuel tank and fuel pump are replaced due to it sitting for years with fuel in them? But all other liquid-bearing components are fine?

TOTALLY this.  Same with the Passport. I was all set to wait for the Passport refresh, and then I saw those same damn toothpick armrests.  No thanks.

Well, he needed to ensure that he didn’t crash it before the actual crash testing..
