I'm more than aware of the stories about Vioxx and Yaz and many others; the firm I used to work for handled those cases, among many others. Scary stuff.

An attorney I used to work with once told me that the FDA doesn't actually investigate whatever is presented to them for approval. They apparently just accept whatever the drug companies give them at face value. Anyone know if that's true? Certainly sounds plausible, though.

I'd suggest selling broken weapons rather than dismantling them. I had an orange (exotic?) bat that was spent, and when I went to dismantle, it only offered me one metal part. I sold it for 700 something bucks instead. Metal parts are found everywhere, sell your busted stuff instead.

What's the big deal? It's not like they're badging a 525i as an M5. Just as we're excited about brands we don't get here, they are too. I had friends from over there who were excited about our Dodge Avenger rental just because it was a Dodge.
