It takes forever to count up to 1,000,000 for no reason. Then, no flights are displayed between two major airports. It’s a broken site.

Horribly broken site. Your link takes me to a page that says it is searching 1 million flights, and I hadn’t put anything in yet! It appears your link sends me to your SFO-LAS search, which is not incredibly useful

Right. This isn’t a change to help the auto industry. It’s just the Orange Asshole trying to undo anything good that Obama did (“Your favorite President!”).

States can often have standards that are more strict than the federal standard, not less. To use your analogy, it would be like Alabama and Texas requiring firearms to carry fewer rounds of ammo. ROFL, but maybe a good idea.

I hope there isn’t all that much sympathy for Melania. A beautiful young model marries an old, fat, rich man with a long history of cheating on his wives. It was just money for sex.

I’m just going to leave this here:

Agree. He should have kept the original wheels, they were very in-style for a futuristic 1980's Godzilla movie. And white??? The best color for the MR-2 was red, followed by black, and maybe that odd plasticy blue.

I’m not sure who in the middle class is in the 35% bracket. It’s for people with taxable income over $400,000.

Don’t be such an obvious idiot.

I don’t normally engage people ecpressing anti-immigrant sentiment/xeniphobia, but I majored in Economics and am the daughter of two formerly undocumented persons. I walked across the stage at my graduation from UC Berkeley while my dad sat in an ICE detetion center over 600 miles from my parents’ home. Only 2 people

The Republican party was never moral nor the majority. The “Moral Majority” was never moral nor the majority. It was just a marketing gambit to say, “we’re better than other folks because we’re christians.” It was a play for power for the party and the faux-Christian evangelicals. They are terrible human beings who

“most plane accidents occur during takeoff or landing”

My ‘86 MR-2 had a perfect ashtray/little trash can right in front of the stick. You could just pick it up and dump it, easy-peasy. I’ve missed it in all my newer cars.

Yup! My first experience driving downtown Atlanta was like that. I was moving along in white-knuckle traffic at the speed limit, or so I thought. Looked down at the speedometer and saw I doing 85 in the 55 zone. Had no clue, because everyone was going fast.

Still true when I lived in Atlanta around 1980. I-85, eight lanes of high-speed madness through downtown. Many entrances were stop signs with no acceleration lanes. Drivers of crappy old VWs could catch a break, but if you drove a fast car you had to punch it or die.

Are the stolen Teslas now called Edisons?

Oh, they are that dumb. They just couldn’t agree whether to replace the ACA with something much worse, or something much, much worse.

His statement was 97% true (I wish everything I stated was that accurate). Only 3% of families had to change, usually because their prior insurance was substandard (that is, really crappy plans didn’t qualify any more). In any case, the need to change doctors was driven by the insurance plan changes, not by the ACA.

Actually, the ACA has done quite well in states that tried to make it work. In Republican states, where they have tried to impede it as much as possible, it has done less well. Even so, as of this year every county in the entire U.S. has at least one insurance provider available.
