who the hell hoons a 12 year-old, four cylinder wagon?

I’m guessing the difference in cost between what they’ll spend for the ‘22 and how much they can make off the ‘21 is less than they would have spent in nation-wide advertising which is essentially what this is now.

The point is that someone other than the owner did this without permission from said owner. This was a dick move from the tech (and stupid that they didn’t know about the PDR).

Neutral: Pre-pandemic, I thought I hated driving. Then things loosened up a few months ago, I started driving more, and discovered the depths of my hate have been dredged so deep the baleful eye of Satan looks back at you if you look down inside it too long.

Joking aside, everything I hate about driving really has

The 318 is to this day the worst car I’ve ever driven. It’s not just slow, it’s absurdly slow. It’s dangerously slow.

That episode was just one long, slow burn to that punchline and it somehow still landed.

The people responsible never really get punished though. Someone might get a letter of reprimand here. Maybe.

Based on my experience, uninsured/underinsured only covers you if you have another party to put the claim on. In a hit and run situation, comprehensive/collision would take over.

Have you ever actually seen an original 1960's-era vehicle in the flesh? Nobody was exactly busting-out digital micrometers and measuring panel-gaps. Still streets ahead of Tesla, FWIW.

You mean 4 series. 3 series is pretty good looking.

Critically under-starred. Kinja must be Russian.

There’s a reason this joke exists:

There’s also Object 279, the saucer tank built to withstand a nuclear blast.

That’s actually a decent price for a hybrid of that size, with that kind of mileage, with that kind of failure. You could get a newer Prius for that money with that kind of mileage on, and be only halfway to the Prius’ anticipated life...but you can’t tow much with a Prius.
