Might have been a bit strong on that one. My bad.

But yeah, customers generally think the entire vehicle is made by Ford. (Ford, of course, realizes this).

Upon arriving at Chrysler as a young enginerd, I myself was surprised by just how much of vehicle development is “farmed out.”

I’m glad you picked up what I was referencing :-P

The customer doesn’t give a damn which supplier makes it.

One thing to mention:

you know I was all ready to go blasting Webasto (which is an unfortunate name anyway) but some 30 odd years ago I did this dance with Ford. Worked in a body shop and we were contacted by a Ford supplier to bake Windstar interior panels to test the adhesives used. we would fork then into the oven (vehicle oven to

At least the front didn’t fall off.

It’s a damn fine-looking car; has this Phil douche even seen a modern Lamborghini? Those fucking things are absolutely covered in wings and vents! This looks like Lambo stuck to the fundamentals. It’s a nice, clean design.

the 2021 subaru impreza does not have mute on the steering wheel. neither did the 2018 Toyota CH-R that i owned before that. neither did the 2017 Scion iA that i owned before that.

No more Red Bull for me.

Always nice to see a giant corporation waste some ‘fuck you’ money doing an explicitly unauthorised stunt at a World Heritage Site. I hope the ‘no, fuck YOU’ fine sends a clear message.

Everyone involved in this stunt needs to spend a bit of time in lock up.  All the equipment seized and used for education of some sort.

I'd give it a chance if not for the interior, screens everywhere and touchscreen volume? lol nope

I have volume buttons on the steering wheel of my 2013 Land Cruiser.  Honestly, though, I use the volume knob on the radio more often,  it is simply easier to adjust the knob than to push the buttons multiple times.

So we’ve reach the “stick a tablet behind the steering wheel” design now.

Because with a volume knob you can turn the volume down to 0 immediately when need.

Those things were terrible then, and they’re still terrible.

I had a ‘98 DX coupe, manual without a tachometer. 106 HP and manual windows, no AC, not even a tape deck.

Fuck yeah! Del Sol’s are/were cool.
