Things that are inside are more reliable that things outside? Number of cars I have broken a door handle on, 1. Number of cars where a window motor went out, 5. It really doesn’t matter where it is placed, a simple lever will be more reliable than a sensor.

Power generator capabilities, spacious frunk that the grille didnt obstruct so custom tool chests with drawers could be installed, usable bed preferably with an 8 ft option (damnit Ford), and cheap as possible commercial model were the ones I listed as must haves. I’d say it’s more  the sunk cost to his (and the company’s) ego. The Lighting is going to crush the Cybertruck in a way that none of his models have been before. He’s probably getting the public ready for that by saying “oh well it might be a flop because it’s actually too inventive.”

I can never tell if pictures of the Silverado are actually a photoshop mocking the Silverado.
