I was referring to how monetary fines are objectively harsher on poorer people. Time is equal among all of us so it’s a fairer solution (8 hours for Elon is the same 8 hours you or I have, which we all would rather be doing something else with it).

It is and thanks for the comment!! I currently reside in DC, but moved here from MN with family also in OK so looks a bit smaller now 😊

We need to start treating driving as a privilege and not a right (yes that’s how it truly is, but not how it’s treated, particularly once you hit 18).

I believe the staff received Juneteenth holiday off hence the limited new articles today (just like every other major holiday).

Seriously enjoying this series (as is my better half), but we’ve had two Fridays now without parts 3 and 4 showing up. Is there a scheduled plan for these to drop?

Lil Red Express might be a fun option as well

Man I can’t under the Mad Max-esque front end with the side profile of a Lumina or EuroSport...

I'm not your guy, I'm your dad. You're grounded from your phone for this post. Go to your room.

It’s really a body kit that resembles a product (from the front) that’s been out of production for 30+ years for a model and that no longer exists.

Big Wheels always make for great stories, you just have to read it from the perspective of a 4 year old. I remember taking off like Evel Knievel speeding down the driveway and hitting that 1" lip between the pads. Amazing.

Please point us in the direction of a CTR anywhere close to $30k. The closest I found is $33k, which no way in hell you are talking anyone down 10% to make the deal in this volatile market. (And no, 10% above their max price is not close in budget)

MINI Clubman or Countryman seems to be the perfect replacement for the Juke. Fun, Frugal, and customizable to help differentiate itself from the other Minis that you might see out there in OK.

Maybe, just maybe the tanks were drained before their college storage...one can hope at least.

Renault 5 Turbo is a good choice... Another more realistic choice would be a M535i. I'd list the Alpine A310, but yesterday's posting by Torch on the windshield wipers had me nauseated watching the gif alone so I'd likely only be able to drive it in dry weather.

Unfortunately I can't grow a Selleck mustache which is a prereq for ownership

With my imaginary funds, there are only a handful of cars from 1982 I’d want to own. And at the top of that list is the Lancia 037

Function over form. I meets the criteria demanded and is likely designed to be cheaper to build (and maintain for the service lifetime). I believe the order is something like 250k and currently no other market for these so need to keep parts manufacturing as cheap as possible.

Exhaust all remaining funds in legal fees before imploding.

Lawrence - Stealing my comment as your example and no credit? Shameful.
