“nice” price

****2008****

I know, right? Ugh, that’s what I get for typing a comment on my phone and in a hurry. The Benz is a 2008 and for some reason an apostrophe found its way into “drives”. Please accept my apology.

ooooo this is another hot take. I can’t argue with great conviction that you are wrong.

Neutral: I’m okay with most of the laws on the books, but I think the latest round of pedestrian safety standards have made cars ugly AF. We should repeal the pedestrian safety laws and instead we should see more strict enforcement of distracted driving laws. Put both hands on the wheel and pay attention, so we can

You don’t know me. I’m critical of many of the President’s policy stances, particularly monetary policy. My vested interest in the success of our President goes only as far as my love for country and citizenship thereof.

Canada and Mexico are signed on. We’re just waiting on the House of Representatives.

This is a good take. I don’t think many people shopping the Cayman, Boxster, Z4 etc... would consider the Supra. And I surmise the converse to be true as well.

Yes, if the U.S. pulls out of NAFTA without ratifying USMCA, then costs would increase. But literally nobody is suggesting that we pull out of NAFTA without ratifying USMCA. When our worthless Congress critters ratify USMCA, the U.S. will be in a better position and we’ll still have free trade. But because this is

between the A pillar and the rear bumper it’s not bad. I really can’t get past the front end, though. Fake air intakes are lame. I think that designers of EV’s should feel empowered (unbridled) from conventional car design because of how little air intake EV’s require. It’s unconventional, so why try so hard to make

Honestly the maintenance isn’t bad, I’ve spent $500 on maintenance (which I do myself) over the 28k miles I have driven since purchasing on 5/2/19. It has been utterly reliable but doing every little thing that M-B recommends in the maintenance booklet is time consuming.

And for that, I thank you

You get it! And for that, I gave you a star.

Our household income is about $150k. Wife drive’s a 2010 Camry and I drive a 200 E550 4matic. Benz was $12k when I bought it in may (50k miles!) and we bought the Camry off lease for $13k in 2013. People need to act their wage.

Dave Ramsey has great rules on car buying- The total value of your cars should not exceed 50% of your gross household income, and you should only buy what you can pay cash for. Most people won’t follow the advice of paying cash but hey it’s their financial future.

FCA has a position in the sales division known as the Area Sales Manager. A big part of the ASM’s job is to push the dealers to meet their minimum sales responsibility (MSR) so that they order even more new vehicles and the production facilities keep humming. At its base this practice is an elementary business

why so much freaking body?

You’re just wrong though. I’m currently sitting in Chicago, in a rented Ram 150 Rebel. It comes from the factory with taller tires and a 1" lift over the normal ride height. And I’ve been parking in a garage with a 6'6" clearance downtown all week.
I actually shop at the grocery store in this parking lot every week

We shale see.

Excited to see some Omaha news pop up on Jalopnik... This rock is 1.5 miles form my house and in the parking lot of my grocery store. Basically Omaha is now a world class city.
