For 15 years I worked in Outside sales for a Local TV station and drove 30-40k a year. Two Camry’s, a Honda Accord, a GMC Terrain and a Lexus ES300 (Camry). My family also rescues antique VW’s as a hobby. So those same 15 years I relied on the Wife’s various SUV’s to tote and haul vehicles and parts and etc. to shows,

1992 Volkswagen Fox. I found the Fox at a DCJR dealership as a trade in around 2002. it had under 100k miles and ran decent on the test drive. 3 days later the Christmas tree of idiot lights started to glow. I kept the car 13 days. On the way to trade the car in on a new 2002 VW Jetta GL the A/C blower quit. I still

Here is my two for unkillable. My 2001 Chevy Suburban 5.3L 2wd and my 1960 VW Beetle just being brought back from a 10 year slumber with a 40 hp engine still humming.

The Vega! They are bringing back the Vega! or maybe the X-11 Citation

Not really, good running driving examples can be found under $20k. The more rare and the more windows, the higher the entry price though.

Owen, The Fast Times Bus is THE actual Bus from the movie, not a replica. Owned by Robert Skinner from California. His company also worked on the Woodstock Bus as well.

My first ride was a 1970 Ford F-100 2wd, 390 V8 with factory 4 speed. I owned the truck from 1982-99 and 2014-2018. One of the more story worthy events was around 1991 after we installed a 390 police interceptor ‘warmed over” engine in the truck. Leaving the F100 Super Nationals in Pigeon Forge, TN. I shifted from 1st

I bought my 14 yr old son a 1977 Jeep CJ-7 last year. 6cyl, 4sd and hard top.

That’s awesome. My daughter wanted a VW convertible for her 1st car. We purchased a 1971 Ghia vert. 3 years ago.  She graduates this year. Just need to install carpet and the completed seats and we are done with hers.

Purchased a vintage Coleman cooler off marketplace. Went to this warehouse to pick up. These Volkswagens were in the warehouse too. They came home also. Turquoise one is a 1961, tan is a 1965. The Coleman ended up being a 1959 cooler

My daughter learned in a 1971 VW Beetle at age 12, now 18 she has a Karmann Ghia convertible.

The year was 1979 and my dad was shopping for a new truck. We went to the local Dodge/IH dealer in Searcy, ARK.  He was trading in his IH pickup and I begged him to buy the Lil Red Express Dodge truck but no...He bought a new 1979 D150 Club cab long wheel base triple red truck plus put a red camper bed topper on it

It was a 1970 Ford F100 special ordered by the factory my dad worked at. 360 2V with 4 speed trans. 3.25 posi rear axle. No power steering, brakes or A/C. radio delete. When they replaced the truck in 1982 my dad went straight to the Ford dealer and bought it for the trade in allowance of $600. The bed was beat up but

Pre-CVT Honda CRV AWD 100,000 mile problem free family hauler. Countless vintage VW projects brought home and the buy back of my 1st ride, a Big block 4 speed 1970 F-100. I always called it the Hardest working CRV in America. The F-100 clocked in at 4500 lbs at the scales at Memphis Motorsports park when i raced it

My 65 VW bus is good but up for sale.  the 71 Beetle caught fire two weeks ago. Insurance totaled it and i bought it back. in the shop being repaired.  the 71 karmann ghia is running great. the 57 Beetle is in storage awaiting restoration.

I grew up in the small town of Kensett, Arkansas. Home to two famous people. Congressman Wilber D Mills and Bill “Maverick” Golden. Pilot of the “Little Red Wagon”  I went to school with his kids. I remember Bill brought the Wagon to school one day for Show and tell for his daughter.  I can still hear that Hemi start

I appreciate the candid and honest response. For the last dozen years i have driven a mid-sized sedan due to my job. i was promoted to a management position last year. after months of searching for a full sized pick up to support my Volkswagen rescue habit. i just could not justify the costs. So, i found a one owner
