The transmission on the 200 might be the single most annoying thing I've ever dealt with in a car. We had one as a rental in Boston, and driving from Logan down to Newport and Providence, that thing had no freaking clue what gear it was supposed to be in.

Having formerly lived in Daytona Beach, I can say with full conviction that SO many of those people that came for Spring Break in the 80s...just never left.

How have I never noticed how much Stewart looked (back then) like Mike Greenberg does today?!?

If I can get from MKE-Europe for $250 (with taxes), I'll gladly take the Metra to Kenosha or Amtrak to General Mitchell from downtown Chicago.

Not mine, but....

But how does it affect your BRAND, Darren?!?

So a media outlet wants to do ACTUAL, REAL investigative journalism, and its readers scream "But WHY? It doesn't seem like anything to me!"

I love the Transit Connect. I used one from Zipcar a few months ago to pick up a rather large piece of medical equipment for my mother-in-law.

...and some of those cars that wouldn't pass inspection anywhere STILL having a $3,000 asking price, because, after all, 'it's a Florida car!'

1) No time.

Just an FYI....it's not a 'local Daytona news station.' WESH is out of Orlando. Daytona Beach doesn't have its own TV market.

This. If they took away the commission aspect and made it a flat hourly or flat salary, I'd go back to selling cars. The whole 'crack addict, next hit' mentality is what made me leave in the first place.

Thank. You. I'm sick of reading all these things (likely written by 19-23 year olds with no money) about how it's all about the MSRP and money off MSRP like everyone's walking in with a bank check.

I get that you're not going to find high-quality TV people in a market like Burlington, Vermont...but really?!? THOSE are the best reporters they could find?!?

Meh. I'd rather be able to import an Avantime.

230 ypg, 58% completion, 6 TD, 6 INT in his last 6 games. That's not 'a few bad games.' That's Drew Stanton-level QB play.

I don't hate it. It fits in well with the rest of the Buick lineup. With Chevy adding the Trax (basically an Encore) to their lineup, I wonder if there's going to be a Chevy variant at some point down the line.

Come on. Like the NCAA hasn't picked and chosen which of its own rules to follow for years now?

I got to meet Stuart Scott as a college kid covering Super Bowl XL Media Day for our college radio station. Walked up to him, introduced myself, and he gave me pointers to how to actually survive in the radio/TV industry and what to do before I left campus.

4th: The IIHS can go fuck themselves. My first car was (at that time) 20 years old and safer than any brand new Cavalier/Escort/Neon that was being sold in 2000.
