Yeah, Nissan. Why would you want to be a subsidiary of an automotive brand that’s known for everything you’re not? You know...quality. Reliability. Longevity. Not being the only thing that someone with a 385 credit score can get approved for.

So you bought one of the most ridiculous vehicles ever made to draw attention to yourself. Then, when it’s not the attention you want, you try and play the victim.

Fun fact: if you check off all the option boxes, you can spec out a Kicks and even a Sentra to around $34K.

I had not driven any Nissan product in probably a decade until I got saddled with a Rogue as a rental back in March. Brand new, less than 5K miles on it. There were so many rattles and squeaks and road noise, it was unbelievable. The interior materials may as well have come from a 20-year old Accord. The engine was

Bingo. My mom and my late dad are/were some of the biggest ‘America First’ Trumpers you would find.

I hate that this is a NP at $2500. Ten years ago, even in this condition, was a $500-$1,000 car all day long.

In late 2006, I bought a 1990 Camry with 175K on the clock...for $300. Not private party...but a Nissan dealer who had an entire section on their lot for sub-$1K cars they had taken in on trade.

Drop a digit off either end and I’ll take it. Even a rarer Alliance GTA isn’t worth $8K. ND.

If Chrysler was killed off, would anyone notice or care? How many people are buying $50K minivans to justify keeping an entire brand afloat?

My wife had a Ford Aspire in college. That thing had more electrical gremlins than I could count. When it worked, it was a horrible ride, rattled like hell, was slower than anything I had ever (or have since) driven. The transmission never knew what gear it was supposed to be in, and the hatch had to be secured with

In early ‘21, I had my heart set on an EX-L Fit. There was not one -new or used- within 500 miles of me in Chicago. I’m not surprised that they’re still selling at just below original MSRP.

I don’t even care about the mileage. We’re at the point now where a dealer is asking $9K for 20-year old Chrysler. I don’t know if this is the BaT/Cars and Bids effect or what...but my God.

It’s the car they* didnt want you** to have.

I’m sorry. I will not tolerate the slander of the Metro or Yugo convertibles. These are boring, soul-less cars that were made slightly more interesting by removing the roof...and isn’t that all we can really ask for?

So Nissan is now telling Infiniti dealers to look forward to 2027/28 for the next models that MAY bring buyers to the brand? Another nearly 4 years of metal that’s already dated by a decade-plus? Just kill it off already.

“Yeah, my truck only gets 1/3 of the advertised range. But that’s only because of the weather. And my driving at highway speeds. Sure, the infotainment screen stopped working for multiple hours on end. But it finally worked again! And these things weren’t made for the current infrastructure because of the cables being

I remember going to Wrigley Field as a kid and hanging around the players’ parking lot trying to get autographs after the game. Mark Grace had a red Lumina Z34 and I thought it was the coolest car in the world. NP just for my own nostalgia purposes.

The RV one...oh, man. My parents are on the old fringe of Boomer/Silent Gen and bought a 24' Rockwood Class C in 1993 -brand new- for $30K.

Not surprised. Was poking through CapOne’s Auto Navigator the other day and despite both me and my wife having scores around 700, the interest rates on some of these cars were listed as 15, 16, 18+ percent.
