Am I the only one thinking that any speed a vehicle is capable of only on a long enough closed circuit is pointless?

Are you planning to flee? I know a lot of people are talking about it, but emigrating to another country is difficult and expensive — it’s not something a lot of people have access to. What’s the work visa situation where you’re going?
Crevice corrosion is indeed a thing, but it still needs water for it to occur. Not very likely, directly under layer of sticker adhesive and plastic.
Stainless covered by whatever = oxygen starvation = “crevice” corrosion.
Sure. Enjoy your fascist leader while pointing to scapegoats.
It doesn’t have a wooden frame. The only wood in it is a little bit at the back (up high), the actual frame is a alu space frame, and before that, it was made with tubular, flexi steel
The best vehicles would be some that are legal in the countries people are fleeing to. That way they can bring and keep the car after reregistering it at the destination.
Ah, okay. I didn’t know it was a 2008. That makes sense even though reliable cars had proper fuel injection by then.
Ah, yes, less headaches if you want to delete pollution measures. Great idea for everyone.
Carburettors are not reliable compared to modern solutions.
It’s almost 2025, and this thing has carbs?
What a horrible looking Cruiser. I’m okay with the pickup part, but the rest of the build from the colour choice to the design choice of that front, to the noisy-at-speed webbing-inspired sides is just hideous and some choices (webbing thing) is just stupid.
At this stage, whenever I hear “diesel shop”, I hear “illegal”,”rolling coal”, “fraud”, and “con”.
In Danish too. Our elevators say “I FART” when it is coming/occupied.
Oh, that’s the inspiration for the new/21 prototype Hyundai!
Someone should buy the “shape”, install a small petrol engine or an electric motor with a small (i.e. light) battery pack, and produce them for a wider market. It’s so pretty - but not 1 million pretty.
Yes. To be fair, I am not loving the Kia version, but at least I don’t vomit in my mouth when looking at it, as I do with the Hyundai.
Thanks. Yup, much better.
That roofline in the top photo had me thinking “Volvo Estate”, then I read “SUV”, lowering my expectations, and when I saw the photo of the 2021 prototype, I have to admit that I really, really do not like it.
Spend around $100 million = continue getting billions in subsidies if Trump wins. That’s all this is. Well, that, and him being a fascist too.
