I’d love to own a (new) Panda 4x4. They’re fun little cars. I guess I could buy a lightly used Jimny, but that high-strung Panda engine is great: You really have to make it scream to go anywhere, and even then, it’s not fast.

“X60"? I looked it up - a “Lifan”? Never heard of that brand, and I’ve certainly never seen one in real life around these parts. So how it compares to that, I have no idea. I might as well make a comparison to a row boat I have. You will have no idea how big it is.
You don’t need to like that particular colour. It was just an example of a non-grey solid colour. I prefer my orange to be international orange or more into the high-vis reds.
That’s okay to disagree on. In the big scheme of things, we are talking details anyway.
Ah, yes, in an American context it is not a large car.
It should be able to provide at least some resistance, even if being towed by a semi. What the other car pulling is is irrelevant.
Snow camping with several people, often having to work at a desk. I also have a diesel heater for it.
Look at prices of roof top tents. In that context, this is cheap. Hell, I have a ground tent that costs more than that (Hilleberg Atlas with 6P inner and other accessories).
Nothing to do with Musk is anything but overpromising and underdelivering. If delivering at all.
Sorry, yes I did. I also had a photo of the thing next to a Porsche, but that wasn’t posted. And it is much larger than the Tesla 3.
Don’t worry, it is now out of the environment.
So I guess I could potentially hot spot my phone with a VPN and have idiotic owners give me their information easily?
Not really. I already explained why I think it’s huge. I even posted a photo of it next to a super-wide Porsche for comparison. I get that is is not as large as some US SUVs-based-on-trucks, but I don’t live in the US.
Yes, I agree. Hence my post which was basically “It very likely was”.
It also came loose in their own “crash test” video. They are built with car parts apparently, and not very strong parts at that.
As I posted to Toby Taylor:
That wasn’t the problem. Read the article. The CT didn’t even try - it shut down.
[...]posing with and showing the truck off by driving fast on LA streets
Maybe on the inside. A sloping rear end makes it necessary to push the rear seats forward.
