It doesn’t matter if it was a stock Silverado or not. The CT shut down unless the other truck was in park. I bet even one of the heavier sedans out there would cause the CT to shut down its drive train, as it had nothing to do with pulling power, stock or not.

Sane people already laugh at the mere sight of one.

Again, I prefer solid colours, not metal flake paints. I don’t like chrome either. “Shiny” is not something I find attractive.

The VW UP! and it’s Skoda and Seat siblings are even smaller. But not a lot of manufacturers make small hatchbacks.

Ah, I see you’re either a Tesla owner or a wannabe Tesla owner. Perhaps even a Musk fan. I hope you were stupid enough to pay for that abominaton. Preferably stupid enough to pay over-the-odds as an “investment”.

Nope, I wouldn’t even drive a Tesla if I stole it. Hell, I won’t even be a passenger - especially not with the owner. Hell no!

I prefer “solid” colours over metallic ones. Ever seen a boat with metallic paint? It looks awful.

Yes, one manufacturer in particular always make stupid decisions.

I don’t think they will merely strand you. I think a lot of people will be pulled in before they find the brake (I mean, I don’t expect a CT driver/owner to know to cover the brake in such situations).

No, brushed electric motors burn out easily. Brushless does not. Are you saying that the CTs motors would burn out if trying to pull something or accelerating hard? If brushless motors overheat, it is protected and will shut down.

Boat ramps springs to mind.

Exactly. Failure from Musk yet again.

That would be stupid “fail safe”. Retreiving or launching your boat on your boatramp? Sorry, there is weight pulling the car backwards, so we will just kill the motors.

Hahaha!

I don’t. If I was to buy a “big footprint” vehicle, I might as well maximise storage and have a van with windows - a VW Combi springs to mind as the ideal. If SUV size, I’d at least want to be able to maximise storage in the rear, which means an as-vertical bum as possible.

Bummer!

In Europe it does - especially as I was expecting a somewhat small hatch size (I.e. slightly bigger than the Delta Integrale). This car is proper SUV size.

I hope it’s as small as it looks/I expect, and not the huge (SUV) size of the Hyundai Ioniq 5, that looked like it would be a lancia integrale size:

Nope, everyone doesn’t know that. Your entire argument relies on turbo engines being lighter for the same power, but if that’s not the case (and if that’s not the only consideration) your whole argument falls apart.

Well, the angry eyebrows mounted like this makes it look like it is sad and sighing as if to say “I give up”. I like that better than the usual angry look.
