Btw, let’s say you can do it all in a day at the end. 6 months to Mars (generous), 6 months back (again, generous), and 3 meals/day/person. That is 360 days. and 3 meals/day is 1080 meals per person. Times that with a million people translate to 1,080,000,000 meals. Each meal is on average 1 pound, and at $10,000/lbs

I know what you’re saying, but for other people’s benefit: Mars cannot be terraformed as it has no molten core. Any attempt will be blown away by solar winds extremely quickly.

No, because you have to refuel in orbit with at least 16 ships per manned ship. That takes time. And every one of those ships will have a Super Heavy Booster (single use) to get up there. You can’t wait until everything is ready and then go. To get a million people up there on already placed ships will take 10,000

Nah, not until you calculate all the extra launches needed for fuel and food. The numbers are so ridiculous throughout this fantasy of Musk that it is not even funny.

Actually, it’s way more than that. First, they can at best carry 100 people. So already, we are talking 10,000 ships. Then, when you realise that the ships needs at least 16 refueling (fuel alone, no food) ships for each ship going to mars, we are talking 160,000 launches.

I am sitting on a boat as I type this while it is blowing as hell out there. And that gif almost instantly gave me a headstart on seasickness. Not a great combination.

Yeah, that’s not what he tried. He thought talking neutrally about a window wiper was somehow an attack on Musk, and then cried about that perceived slight. Good try, Musk rat.

Boohoo. Go Xit to Musk. He may give you a blue mark.

I wonder what it will take (a bird poo while going 40mph?) before the end begins to lift, then skip, then go full-on flutter along the arc.

The Diablo is a super car - in fact a Lamborghini. They are allowed to do crazy and impractical stuff. The Diablo is not intended to be a do-everything practical vehicle. The CT is supposed to be the best Tesla can do (lol).

48v has been a thing in EVs for a long time. Now running everything via POE to the extent Tesla did is not “standard” yet.

Because like any good Cult Member, he perceives any description of reality as a slight against Musk, and as his entire person is tied up in Musk and anything he touches, it is therefore a personal slight against himself.

Maybe Ineos managed to introduce the Jeep Death Wobble to it - an extra “feature” the land rover design the Grenadier is based on does not have.

Sounds like you have experience being called dumb and a wish to retaliate?

Pretty sure it’s not the biggest wiper ever. Car wiper, probably, but ships have wipers too. If you saw some of the big ones on huge tug boats and ice breakers, you’d see they put the tesla one to shame.

The only reason the fuel filler is where it is on ICE cars is because it is close to and above the actual fuel tank. There is no such need for an electric car. In fact, the closer to the charger inside the car, the less heavy weight wires are needed.

And, once again: Of course it wasn’t delivered at the event, as it was shipped to a shop to be wrapped and “bro-douched”.

Yup

Who argued that each and every one was delivered on stage? I specifically said it was an actual delivery, and that it was shipped from Tesla to the shop.

Looks more like an autocorrect-issue, correcting a misspelling of “generous” (probably misspelled as “genarous” or something, which then autocorrected to “general”.
