As someone who grew up with a dad really similar to Brad Pitt’s character in Tree of Life, that movie meant a lot to me too. I loved it, and his unique style.

You are the wrongest wrong that has ever wronged.
Oh my god. How did I not know that Chris Wallace was Mike Wallace’s son until now??? I think I never made the connection because why would his son work for Fox...
It’s so funny because I was just (like two nights ago) thinking “what is Nelly Furtado up to these days?” because I told my fiance to turn out the lights and I am contractually obligated to start singing her song after asking anyone to do that. And now I know! She’s busy being awesome and thoughtful in Canada.
Right?! It definitely suffers from a tone problem. Like I kind of had hope that the cheesy sitcom spliced with zombie gore would be funny, but it just... wasn’t. It felt so stale. I feel like a good show could be made from that premise, but this one sure ain’t it.
Yeah, there were just enough funny moments in the first and second episode that I kept going for a few more, hoping they would increase in relation to the corniness but instead it just got worse as the joke wore thinner and thinner.
Haha yes, I am glad you understand I am not advocating watching Love instead of SCD. I personally am re-watching House of Cards because it just seems so quaint compared to our real-life politics, a nice escape.
Santa Clarita Diet is not good. I have no idea why it’s been getting positive reviews. The premise is cool, but it’s the same one-note joke and situations over and over again with some over-the-top bloodshed injected for edginess, I guess. And I say this as someone who really likes Drew Barrymore. Not good.
Good idea, think I’ll do the same :)
“lucky enough to ride Bill’s coattails.” Ohhhh, excuse me, I didn’t realize we were dealing with a moron here. Enjoy your painfully obvious sexism and Kool-Aid :)
Exactly. They are both flawed (what politician isn’t?) and also have a lot to offer.
Yes, smart one. He is back to his JOB as a senator. Hillary is not a senator or elected official now. I personally don’t see a problem in her taking some time to herself after being on the campaign trail for ~2 years. I agree with the writer that her presence at the Women’s March would have distracted from its message…
Oh shut up. You can be left and also think Hillary was a fine candidate who would have been a better president than Bernie. You are not the arbiter of progressivism.
*eyeroll* What is your evidence that she took this loss”very, very personally?” She delivered one of the most graceful and eloquent concession speeches I’ve seen, and has been using her limited public appearances since the election to support important issues and encourage women in leadership. I like Bernie Sanders a…
Yeah, encouraging more women to run for office and become leaders because they are historically oppressed and currently underrepresented is SO divisive. *wanking motion*
Oops just realized I misread your comment. Disregard mine!
She actually wasn’t rich at all. She was raised middle/working class. She did have a happy, supportive home life however, unlike Tonya.
Just FYI Planned Parenthood really discourages counter-protests at their clinics, as it just escalates tensions and makes patients more uncomfortable. They recommend becoming a clinic escort if you want to help.

LOL and do you think before Trump’s EO it was an automatic stamp of approval? That would be the height of ignorance.
