Firefox 3.5 seems to get slower for me over time. It was really crawling the other day so I got the latest chrome and it seems blazing fast.

I've set up a few PC's for friends and family without Admin privileges. While it's true it keeps them from screwing it up, it also causes more "service calls" when they want to install something and can't. It's a catch 22.

@FooSchnickens: I'm going out on a limb here and guessing your idea of "super polite" might coincide with other people idea of sarcastic and patronizing, just a guess mind you.

I can see that getting in the way when you only intended to do something say three times, then you have to deal with a dialog box. I'm still curious though. Perhaps I'll try it out.

@DiscoZombie: I think it would be safe to assume that the digital copies of movies that don't have DRM are the ones you ripped.

@Headlam: I don't understand why people in other countries don't just use a proxy service to get web content that would be otherwise filtered by the provider.

My rules for finance, boiled down to simplest terms (do them in order):
