A lot of people don't know this but these images are actually from Google Streetview. If you look closely you can actually see a Streetview car in the background.

Aesthetics will always be a low priority for me when comparing gadgets. It almost invariably means the company has hired more designers and spent more time and money on looks. That expense will show up in the product price without bringing substantive features to the table.

I wonder if the laws about reasonable expectation of privacy will change to include aspects of the interwebs.

I just moved my home theater yesterday. There are so many compromises when setting up a home theater sometimes it seems like you have no chance of getting anywhere near optimal.

I set up a HTPC about 8 months ago. I tried a few different specialized HTPC software solutions and I find that they kind of get in the way.
