He should discuss it on HIS terms, no one else’s. Media thinks they have to know everything. I feel that is as much of an issue as anything else. TMZ and the like make things worse.

Considering that Aaron Rodgers seems to be a pretty even-tempered, low-key, quirky-humored and intelligent sort of guy, and his family seems a little on the pushy and “off” side, I’ll lean toward his direction. Again, have been there and have seen that; really interesting, smart, ironic people whose families are

Even though the Packers won, I’ll bet Ezekiel Elliot feels like a badass because he got to do his rad eating dance a bunch of times.

Pro tip: “It’s good that our family business is now available for public consumption” is an opinion that only a huge asshole famewhore would possess.

Nobody likes a tease.

Given who is talking (and when they choose to do it) vs. who is just quietly minding their own business and not taking their private family issues to the press it seems pretty clear who the assholes are in this story. I’m getting the impression he’s got good reasons to be estranged from these people.

+1 black sheep

Honestly, even though I’m here reading this and chatting about it, I hope we don’t hear both sides of it. It’s none of our business, and I hope it never becomes enough of an issue for Rodgers that he feels he has to discuss it.

I agree. Particularly since the story came out the day he was going down to Dallas for a big game. Bit shifty on the timing, dad.

Until we hear Aaron’s side of the story, and determine what is legit on both sides of the situation and find the truth that lies somewhere in the middle, then there really is nothing to see here. Everything said would be one-sided.

Yeah, that’s terrible, unlike Dad running to the national press to try and sabotage his son’s success at work. He seems like a really supportive sweetheart and not at all a manipulative sociopath.

It’s too bad that, even with Aaron’s fame, they couldn’t continue to have the same kind of tight father/son relationship that Michael and Joe Jackson had.

It happens in a lot of families. Happened to me actually. You achieve some measure of success and the rest of your lazy, stupid, embittered family hates you for it.

Grew up near the family. You wouldn’t need to interview many people in the community to find out why there’s the rift. It’s not really much of a secret around there, and I’d imagine most like myself fall on team Aaron.

The son Mr. Rodgers does talk to went on The Bachelor in pursuit of fame(whoring). I know whose side I’m on.

There’s never a bad time for this, but this is an especially great time for this.
