I think 10-14 is a pretty important age when it comes to taste decisions. Things change of course, but looking back I can definitely that my favorite games from that age (Halo, CoD, and HL2 all came out around that time for me) influenced the next decade of my gaming choices significantly.

Fun thing: forcing away feelings only intensifies them. Accepting the feelings, letting them flow through you, on the other hand, lets them go away.
