Seriously, who likes the Sand Snakes? That whole plotline bores me to tears. At risk of sounding like a “book snob”, I found them to be much more interesting in the novels, and more fully fleshed out as characters. I’m not shedding a single tear that some of them have been killed.

Other famous concert night ED quotes:

I used to be an ER nurse at the hospital where most of these kids are transported. This has been going on for years. The day that the summer concert schedules come out, nurses race to put in vacation time for certain shows, OR they race to sign up to work certain shifts. Dave Matthews shows were the most infamous. I

a similar issue in the UK led to a change in the law requiring developers to take into account noise levels in a area before development commences and take appropriate action.

You are correct. It is illegal, but the article mentions the city doesn’t think it is so big a nuisance that its interested in enforcing this rule, and the illegality of the noise doesn’t change the sentiment of the woman’s entitlement.

I will admit that I get annoyed by the ice cream truck jingle too, but I get over it and go on with my life. I know that a lot of people are fine with it, and some are happy to hear it. It is almost as if living in a society occasionally requires us to tolerate things that are not for or about us. Weird, I know.

“...it’s not just because you’ve become accustomed to ad-free Netflix.”

lol - but that figure has no hips...no lie!

R.I.P. Mariah Ora, we barely knew ya.

Of course you can’t do a complete 180 on foreign policy in 2 terms. The real masters (Lockheed Martin, General Atomics, et. al.) wouldn’t stand for it.

Seasonal foundation disorder is real.

It’s not the best we’ve got, it’s just the best of the two that we have elevated to “real choice” status. It’s the money in politics and the fact that we have an electoral system that creates binaries to blame. Then, it’s just inertia keeping it that way. It’s not like the two parties in power are going to vote for

Mmm Hmm! See, people forgot that winter fade. You need 5 different foundation shades and 3 concealers.

Libya? Yemen? For fuck’s sakes, how many civilians were killed by US arms (fired mostly by Saudi Arabia, admittedly, but...here we are lambasting Trump for a Saudi arms deal when...but I digress) in Yemen?!

1. Did you skim over the parenthetical after the UN bit? That poster wasn’t suggesting at all what you’re thinking.

My option is simply don’t try to cause regime change in response to nebulous threats. Iraq was launched to take away a chemical weapon threat that apparently didn’t exist. Trump launched a strike on a Syrian airbase in retaliation to a gas attack that apparently didn’t happen.

Oh, I didn’t realize this was you again. I don’t really know what you’re getting from this but yes I think it’s important to be morally consistent in your argument. The fact that I’ve gotten more people arguing me from making an antiwar post than anything else I’ve posted on a Gawker site is pretty disturbing to me

Sorry for not justifying mass murder. Not sure which ”y’all” you think I’m a part of

I don’t have a problem with it. I have a problem with the slaughter of brown people on the middle East. Challenge that all you want, I’m quite certain I have the moral high ground.

Oh you sweet summer child. Both sides have had the same foreign policy since Truman (with the exception of Carter). Other than that, every President has pretty much done the same thing.
