I follow Lord and Miller on Twitter. I love the first one, thought it was one of the best pictures that year in general, let alone best animated picture (which it wasn’t even nominated for at the Oscars). I saw rave reviews for it. And STILL I forgot it was even out until late in the day on Sunday.

I liked that it tricked people into reading about civil engineering and city planning by sneaking it in with true crime.

Like yeah, some of the more out-there details of Feldman might be wrong, but based on Spacey’s antic and Singer’s whole production company that was designed to help pipeline underaged boys directly to him and his cohorts, there’s no doubt in my mind that at least part of what Feldman says is true.

There’s no texture in the world like an inside of the Butterfinger. Crystal shards that break on a misplaced glance that later soften to a stucco that refuses to ever leave my teeth.

Did he say no pun intended after naming her? No? Therefore, it was.

Between the guitar, the outfit, and the beat of the song literally created by Prince, I can see why she was his protege.

I hope it’s a better sister story than S4 of Sherlock

On urban dictionary. Basically dancing in such a way to make your butt cheeks clap together.

Gives a whole new meaning to the phrase “Ass clap”.

It’s almost as if the Bible isn’t consistent and you can cherrypick any verse you want to prove anything you want. Theology is about fixing Biblical plotholes but with shittier philosophy.

Yeah, her as a “peer” is a weird choice on my part though she still counts as pop music. Certainly not in the same sort of bubblegum pop that Ariana does, but I dunno how you can not include her when talking about contemporary mega popular female singers

“Books”?

Used to have them organized by fiction and nonfiction and then by author. Now they’re color coordinated in my IKEA Kallux bookshelf (in the checkerboard-patterned boxes that don’t have board games). The books not on those shelves are a mishmash and unorganized. When I move next month, probably will do a color again

Yeah, I don’t doubt the numbers, though as you mentioned there are caveats. I was mainly pushing back on the idea that her peers don’t even seem close. Like Taylor famously was able to get Spotify to the negotiating table to get better revenues for herself and other artists before she allowed her music there. Not many

Yay demonstrable false whataboutism defending LGBTQ hatred. Love it.

Yes, lemme check out how science proves something subjective like musical taste

Nuanced apparently === your view.

The original article was bad, yes, especially since it was more about Neeson’s repulsion of his past (from 40 years ago. When he was in Ireland. Which didn’t have the best racial politics) when he didn’t even do anything. The pushback against this article and the central lack of focus

Uhhh... that’s some big bullshit that ignores a whole bunch of trash from the 1950-2000 that’s been forgotten. We only remember the big hits, just as we’ll only remember the big hits of today. If you can’t find good music today, you aren’t trying hard enough. There’s literally never been more music produced or created
