Yep! He’s a middle or high school math teacher tho:

You have an identical twin, Rami! Blame it on him! What’s the point in a doppelgänger if you can’t pin your mistakes on them?

L. O. L. and Milton Friedman’s been dead for decades, but apparently he’s the one to listen to according to you. He also was more about monetary policy than he was taxes and fiscal policy but you do you.

I went during their Beat The Champ tour which they played a lot of the album for (as well as older classics), and while I was just lukewarm on BTC, Goths I never listened to more than twice. Just couldn’t get into it. And I figured they’d come back to my city eventually, so I gambled with the non-Goths tour haha

I didn’t go to their last tour since it was for Goths, and I did not enjoy that album at all. But as long as the show’s just a melange of their albums and not covering one in particular, I can’t wait!

Which is strange because 3 of them live in NC.

No no no, don’t you see? Economics is very complicated, except for their cherrypicked views on how tax rates are what caused low growth and high inflation, not major exogenous shocks like the oil crisis or bad monetary policy. In that case, economics is very simple.

Sadly the idiot now has 80+ upvotes and the top comment.

And almost entirely grassroots too. Donations and visibility primarily through Twitter retweets, e.g., Neil Gaiman, AOC, fucking CHER all retweeted and spread the word. I donated $4.20 (because duh) after seeing it spread there.

Because The West Wing is still seen as one of the best political shows of all time even if it’s just one rich man’s fantasy of what governing is actually like, and that for some reason gives him ‘authority’.

Or you could read it as the clear joke that it is?

I love it when a person that lives in Canada who comments primarily on Kotaku comes to the AV Club to cherrypick data points and ignore other contributing factors about American economic history so we get to hear his libertarian nonsense. Yaaaaaay

Plus do we even want to provide the rich with more money to wield disproportionate power? The higher tax rates isn’t just for tax revenue; it’s also for reducing oligarchic power.

Opera for me might have been the Carmen episode of Hey Arnold

Grimes introduced Musk to weed? He’s 47. How has he gotten that far without trying it at all? If this is his first few times trying it, that explains how he had the great idea to do this stock market manipulation “joke” and call that guy a pedo.

but is it ugly delicious though?

...you know this is a series about rom-coms? So she is kind of writing the same article, or it just seems that way from the surface. Just like when the other person writes every article about a superhero movie.

The best bit on Harmontown is Kumail talking about Rob Schrab on Twitter:

It has a built-in audience for people that want to spend 8 hours watching a poorly-made movie that each person tweaks and edits because no one’s ever read the real rules to include the auction mechanic and free parking does literally nothing and houses are intentionally limited and there are better games out there and

Thyme is not something I acknowledge. It’s why my pork chops are so bland.
