It’s actually quite a big problem, if you ask me, largely because what they’re advocating isn’t “socialism.” The Scandinavian Nordic Model that they’d ideally like to emulate isn’t socialism either. And this so-called “democratic socialism” has already long had a name—it’s “social democracy.”

Because there are socialist policies that can be enacted in a capitalist system which, if they work well, promote the socialist ideal, and these candidates are behind those ideas. This....isn’t really that hard.

Eh, I see this as more of a “growing pains” kinda thing. Trying to figure out best practices, whether co-opting the party is better than striking out and building from the ground up, etc.
